    To Whom it May Concern,

    Mr. ****** purchased ******* brand awning fabric from Aladdin, Inc on May 4, 2015.  ******* offers a 10 Year limited MFG warranty on their fabrics, which I have attached.  Mr. ****** should have registered for his warranty with ******* after installation as advised by Aladdin.  If he had, then he would have received the warranty information that I have attached.  As indicated on the warranty information, ******* carries a 10 Year limited warranty against becoming unservicable because of "loss of color or strength from normal exposure conditions, including sunlight." ******* will repair or replace with new equivalent fabric that becomes unservicable.  Normal wear, weather soiling, stains, rips from environmental factors are not included in the warranty.  As indicated in the picture that Mr. ****** provided, the fabric was clearly ripped in a way that is not consistent with normal exposure.  Aladdin has contacted ******* on behalf of Mr. ******.  We were advised, as was Mr. ******, when he called ******* directly, that the hole in his awning fabric did not occur due to normal exposure conditions and that it appears to be the result of an animal or some other kind of environmenatal factor.  

    In conclusion, Mr. ****** was aware of the scope of the warranty 9 years ago when he purchased the awning fabric.  While Aladdin, goes above and beyond in our efforts to satisfy our customers there is unfortunately no remedy to this perdicament other than replacing the current fabric at cost.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The awning was not exposed to any conditions that one would expect awnings to be exposed to. In fact, the awning was not used very much at all during the 9 years of our possession.  Their product should be able to withstand less than normal use and  Aladdin should stand behind the quality of their product.

    I have attached a picture of the damaged awning, as provided by Mr. ******.  Clearly and as confirmed by *******, the damage is not a result of normal exposure but environmental factors, more specifically, an animal and is therefore not covered by the limited warranty that ******* provides.
