On March 8th, 2024, my 2010 *** ** was towed to Notorious Motorsport in ********* ** on ********* *** for a non start issue and my trunk wouldn’t close which was draining my battery. Marvin/Mark did a diagnostic and informed me the engine was seized and I needed a new one put in but he never got to the root of why my trunk wouldn’t close. He also offered to do many other things to hook my car up and make it a show car for $12,000. I agreed. He stated he needed money to get a new motor and get the job started. I gave him $2300 for a new motor and $1200 for the labor. When I asked for a receipt he stated he will provide everything to me at the end when the full job was done which I should’ve seen that as a red flag. A few weeks pass by and it’s a little over a month now. He contacts me on April 12th stating he needs more money to buy the wrap for my car. I gave him $960. Whenever he collected my money it was at the front of the shop. It was never inside of his shop which I found odd. On July 14th, I got in contact with him to figure out the status of my car. I came to the realization that nothing has been done to my car despite all the money I gave him. He then advised me that he only has one car lift and he has had so many cars to work on. He stated my *** was going on the lift next and will be done in the week. He stated he already purchased the new motor and wrap for my car with the money I provided him. Fast forward to July 27th, I drove by the shop and seen my car outside. It was still in the same position it was put in when I towed it back on March 8th. I tried to go inside the shop to see Marvin/Mark and he was nowhere to be found. I got in contact with him and we got into a huge disagreement. He stated he needed more money for him to be able to do majority of the job. I told him I need to see you’ve done something before I give you anymore money. It is now OCT 16th and my car is still in the same condition. Only thing new it’s inside the shop. Guy is a Scam!

On February 14 2024 my *** ***** was towed to Notorious Motorsport to replace engine. A week later when my engine was being delivered to shop by ***** *** *******. The owner Marvin talk me into returning engine & allow him to rebuild engine I agreed. In March I received a call from Marvin stating car was ready to be picked up. Marvin quoted me a price of $2,100 for rebuilding engine. I pay Marvin & then Marvin stated he has no more invoices to provide me with. I drove out the shop with my vehicle & only made it an half a block from shop before car started overheating. I immediately returned back to Notorious Motorsport & Marvin seen all the smoke coming from my hood. Marvin then said leave car with him cause maybe a hose came lose. In March I contact Marvin twice to try & get my car. Marvin stated he is out of town . My car stayed at his shop for additional month. Marvin continues to tell car is fixed but never left his shop . Now we are in April & my car has to be towed out of his shop cause it's still undrivable.
