    I ordered food from Pie Guys of NY on 4/15/23. Right after I received the food, I was dissatisfied with what I received because the presentation of the food was unacceptable (dry, items missing). I returned the food to the restaurant and requested a refund. The cashier took the food, and informed me that my refund will be reflected on my account by the next business day. Today is 4/28/23, and I have yet to receive my refund. Each time I call Pie Guys of NY, the employees hang up on me. When I went in person to the restaurant, the cashier tells me that they cannot help and that I have to wait until the owner is present. I believe it is unfair that I have not received a refund after being told that I would, and I did not consume the food, so I'm not sure why I'm being treated like I'm a nuisance to them for wanting my money back. It would greatly appreciate if you assist me with getting my refund.

    I am rejecting this response because: The payment was not sent back to my account. I returned to the establishment and called 3 times, and their response was that I need to wait for "the guy" to come in and handle it because they couldn't find my ticket number althoughI texted them a picture of the receipt. I had to go through my bank by disputing the charge in order to have TEMPORARY refund until my bank completes their investigation. Therefore, the issue has not been resolved.

    A chargeback, also referred to as a payment dispute, occurs when a cardholder questions a transaction and asks their card-issuing bank to reverse it. so as long you called your bank, as we were trying to tell you same thing. so they already refunded money to your account. so  you all set with refund. this is how the bank chargeback work . this is not a temp refund. they refunded your money.
