      The business did not complete the job in a year but refuse to refund the check amount. I was told they are working with an adjuster when they had the check in hand from 8/9/2022 and contract signed 6/30/2022. It was told verbally that the job must be completed before the winter of 2022, but it was not. I don’t trust this business commitment. I want the check back and end all interactions with them. I was told I was not getting a refund because Jose said he has to look into it.

      I want to inform you that this business mainly does insurance claims for homeowners who have any storm related damages. We work with the insurance companies on getting homeowners a full replacement. In ** there is building codes and statues that do not allow roofs with the condition like hers to be repaired only. We did not receive the full amount for the job. The homeowner did give us a check. We were still in the process of getting the rest of the claim approved for full roof replacement. The homeowner became inpatient and wanted to cancel. She had 3 days to cancel after the contingency agreement was signed and she waited a year to cancel. We worked a full year on this claim, and we are close to getting her approved. We did inform her we were really close to getting her roof approved.
