    I was encountering some water seepage issues in my home after particularly heavy rain and decided to install a sump pump. Tom from Sound Foundations responded quickly to my request for an assessment. He came the next day to inspect the worksite and broke down his installation plan for me in clear and simple terms. The installation of the pump and battery backup system took 2 visits. Tom arrived promptly both days and got right to work. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He kept me informed through the entire process and made sure the pump itself was operating on the first day so I had peace of mind. I was worried about having a noisy, unsightly pump in a soon-to-be-furnished basement but Tom did an excellent job in allocating space for the install and selected an incredibly quiet system. The pump looks great, works perfectly and has definitely helped mitigate my seepage issues. I will definitely be looking to work with Tom in the future and cannot recommend Sound Foundations enough for water mitigation! Thank you!

    We have had a fairly serious water problem in our basement off & on for years. We have attempted to address the problem in the past without a permanent solution. In the last 6 weeks our water issue has become intolerable with all the rain. Tom from Sound Foundations came & accessed the problem & formulated a solid plan. Even with water coming through our foundation Tom was able to utilize his past experiences & knowledge to solve our problem. Voila! A dry basement!
    We highly recommend Tom & Sound Foundations for all your basement water problems. Thank you Tom!

    Sound Foundations , excellent contractor. Tom saved me from a flooded basement and I am so glad that I don't have to wake up to two days of vacuuming the torrents of water out of the basement.
    The Sound Foundation contacted me immediately after I called. The project was started, done and completed quickly.
    Tom was very knowledgeable and courteous. He was diligent and neatly cleaned up after the job was completed. I would certainly recommend him to anyone experiencing water in their basement .

    Sound Foundations is an absolutely STELLAR company. We are so happy we chose to use this new company for our project! It has been a year since we've had Tom from Sound Foundations install a sump pump with a marine backup battery, and open french drain. Prior to having Tom complete this installation, every time we experienced a heavy rain - 1/3 of our basement-level living area would flood. Now that we have this pump, and drain system; we no longer have a problem with flooding. Basement areas in New England can be tricky - to say the least. Rocky, sandy soil and a (potentially) high water table can create problems for homeowners with basements. We no longer have any issues.
    Tom is professional, timely, and very knowledgeable about the service he provides. His workmanship is quality, and he works cleanly. He is reliable and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is in need of this type of service! He is worth EVERY PENNY his service entails, and his prices are reasonable. He also does not try to charge top dollar, and provide a minimal amount of work/effort (like the bigger, more established companies do).
    It's so nice to find a competent contractor who does the job correctly - the first time!
