In mid to late November last year my mother found Advanced Apshalt service and I hired them to redo my driveway. They removed and put a new driveway. I gave 50 percent down and at the end of the project I refused to pay them, but the owner refused to leave until I did and because my fathers health was horribly bad and he was getting involved I paid him for my fathers sake. The driveway is not level and crumbling on top and on the edges. I have asked 3 driveway companies to come out and look at it. They have all said it was a VERY poor job and many corners were cut. Poor product was used. When we tried to speak with them they offered it sealed for free, however every asphalt company says it should be removed and redone properly. I spent 10000 on this job and accidentally over paid them cuz I was in a hurry to remove my dad from the situation. They never returned the extra amount. Somehow they do not even have a license anymore and are allowed to stay in business. Last year I had to take care of my father who had **** ***** ******** * ******* *** ***** ********* ****** **** *** ******** ********* ************* *********. I was so busy caring for him I did not have time to handle this issue, besides contacting the business. Advanced asphalt became hostile and even threatened us. I do not feel comfortable with them coming back to my home after they threats and would like a refund so I can pay a good company to do the job properly. I will be contacting a lawyer as well, but something needs to be done about this company.

Here is a picture of the driveway edge the complainant took where you can clearly see them driving on and off the asphalt edges by their tire marks. Despite widening the old driveway the homeowner continues to drive off the edges.  The driveway was paved in November 2021. When the homeowner complained about a cold seam we explained that the seam joining the double wide lanes was not a structural deficiency. It was a visual deficiency. Advance Asphalt Services offered to sealcoat the driveway for free. This was a gesture made in kind to help resolve any concerns the homeowner had. The offer no longer stands for this complainant after reading her slanderous remarks and hearing her bad-mouthing us from other paving companies. Advance Asphalt Services is licensed, bonded and insured and has been for years. In fact, we laid the original driveway at that house decades ago for the previous owners. The driveway still looked good 30 years later. The new homeowners wanted it ripped out, enlarged and widened to accomodate more vehicles. They still continue to drive off the edges despite being warned and as a result the asphalt will continue to crack. That is the bottom line. It only needed a seal coat job to address the cold seam and keep the cars, vans and trucks on top of the driveway not off in the grass. If you have any other questions please contact us.
