We paid Jeffrey Aversano of Aversano Tile $3800 on August 16th, 2022 which was more than half of the full price of $6310. This included tiling/painting our half bath which was only $413 of the entire price, and the bulk of the price for a full remodel of our main bathroom. Once he had our deposit, the excuses began. First, the plumber had a supposed emergency and the project had to be pushed back a week, but he said we could get started with painting the half bath. He claimed plumber had already been paid and would be ready to begin the job upon his return. Then, he kept making excuses due to the painter, when in actuality the painter was waiting on him and had not heard a word. Every week, he said we would start the following week, but then that week would come and no work had been done. We spoke to Juan directly and Juan said he no longer was working for Jeff.

Finally, September rolled around and we were still waiting on Jeffrey. I msgd Jeffrey on 9/10 asking if we can get the ball rolling and then he told me a story that his sister was in the icu. Come 9/14 I reached out and Jeffrey claimed his sister was in the icu but that he would start that weekend. Come 9/14 I had not heard a word so I followed up and he said he was still trying to get ahold of the painter to start our 1/2 bath and then anticipated starting the main bath the following week.

Finally on 9/20 the 1/2 BA got prepped for painting and painted by some other painters that week, and Jeff put down tiles and installed 1 toilet. He cracked a wall and caused our sink to be unusable with a leak as well when it was hooked back up. 10/14 rolled around and main BA remained untouched. Jeff began using his painters as an excuse again. 10/27 rolls around and Jeff claims the main BA would get started that Wed/Thurs. As of Nov. 10th 2022 no work on the main BA has been done. We have req. a refund of $3387 which is minus the only work he did in 1/2 bath. Jeffrey agreed but has not refunded it.
