Approximately 2 weeks ago, I received a phone call from a number that showed as US Govt on my Caller ID. The caller said they were a representative from *** and they were calling me about a new government program that offers seniors a 60% discount on their utilities. He went on to say they will also send a rebate check within 3 days for $258. I specifically asked if he was trying to get me to change my utility service providers, because I wasn't interested. He told me, "Absolutely not. I'm a representative of *** enrolling seniors in a new government discount program." I told him "I will not change my providers, so I hope you're being honest." Again He reassured me of what his intent was. He asked for the account numbers for my utility bills, so I could be enrolled in the senior discount program. I reluctantly gave them. Needless to say, a rebate check never came. Today I received a notice from Realgy Energy stating that I agreed to change my service provider to them for both my natural gas and electricity. I was very angry when I saw this. I immediately called *** *** ******** ***. They both advised me to call Realgy Energy and tell them to stop the enrollment into their "program". I did call and cancel enrollment. I tried to file a complaint about their business practices of lying to people, especially targeting seniors, and I was told they do not take complaints, they just handle sign-ups and cancelations. At no time during my initial call did the caller ever even mention Realgy Energy. I have dealt with this company in the past and would never deal with them due to my past experiences with them. Before, they changed my provider AFTER I turned them down after I caught the enroller in several lies. I immediately canceled then as well. This company is the most shady, untrustworthy Energy provider that I have ever dealt with. I would not recommend that anyone do business with them. The people that I have had contact with in that company cannot be trusted.Realgy, LLC

A scam company keeps calling me despite numerous requests to take me off their call list and the fact I'm on the Federal No Call List. They call through spoofed numbers so I've been sending in reports everytime. If you look up Realgy they have plenty of lawsuits and investigations due to their scummy behavior.Realgy, LLC

Hi ********** Any calls from Realgy should be showing our name and either ************ ** ************* We would not be calling you if you are on the Do Not Call list unless you called us first. Currently, customers are only being enrolled after speaking with an agent from another company such as insurance or cable. Once the other company is done, the agent will ask if the customer wants to discuss their energy supply. If the customer says yes, they are transferred to one of our representatives to go over our services. If you believe the calls you're receiving are from Realgy, please email any details to [email protected]. Thank you.J. W.

I don't believe you at all. For starters I emailed your support email on August 28th about the calls asking if you could take me off your call list and you never responded with any sort of acknowledgement that it wasn't you. Secondly it started after one of your "representatives" complete with a badge came into my neighborhood and asked for my utility bills and I told them I went paperless. Finally the icing on the cake is you have countless investigations and lawsuits you were found guilty of violations in. From forging peoples signatures on order to change them to your utilities after they trusted you and showed you their utility bills to hiring telemarketers to harass potential customers. You even posted on your own page about utility companies suddenly spiking prices without warning, a practice many reviews claim you do. To anyone reading this all you need to do is ******* *Realgy Energy Investigations" and you'll see exactly what I mean.Review frommeesh d

A number called saying they were calling to let me know that the illuminating company has been sold and they were zoning my house as a business. Two numbers were verizon wireless numbers (cells) claiming they would credit my account over $100 dollars and the third number was connected to this company when i called back. The sevond wireless number was disconnected when i tried to call back. The illuminating company has NOT been sold and this is a scam. They did not have the correct information for what i was currently paying and called me 3 times with false information. Im not leaving any of my information as the third scam number directed to this company and ive heard its a scam.Realgy, LLC

Hi ****** Realgy is a third party supplier for various utilities including the Illuminating Company through the OH Choice Program. Our terms clearly state we are not the utility. If a representative contacts you from Realgy, the caller ID would show as Realgy Energy Services with our main numbers ************ or ************* It would not be a cell phone number. Currently, we are not running a promotion for a $100 credit so if you can, please email us at [email protected] and provide further details regarding the conversation. Can you also provide the numbers that called you and how you came to the conclusion that one was connected to Realgy? We appreciate your time.Review fromLarry K

I kept getting a call from someone saying they were with AEP, they owe me money for a mistake they made, they go on to tell me how this mistake gets fixed by me switching to Realgy for my electric provider. Repeatedly they say they are an AEP employee, AEP knows nothing about this.Realgy, LLC

I spent 30 minutes on the phone with an individual who barely spoke english. He claimed multiple times to be employed by ***. He claimed there was an error on my electric bill, that a 3rd party supplier had been charging me commercial rates. That this supplier was no longer being used, and I'm entitled to a refund. He knew my Service Delivery ID, I provided NO personal information. He multiple times told me I'd be switched to REALGY supplier. I authorized NOTHING. I called ***, they said it was a scam. I use *** energy as my supplier. He claimed to be Brian Walker, badge number BW1419 He gave me a customer service number to call with questions, which was 1877-300-6747, which I googled to find was REALGY. I'd love to know what you can tell me about this call. He said he needed to transfer me to "verification" he'd stay on the line and hit prompts. We got disconnected and he called me back immediately. We got disconnected again when trying to transfer me to verification. This happended 4-5 times, while I ended up on the other line talking to ***. He called me from 5-6 different numbers. Would you like those numbers? He asked if we used ******** for internet or cable and couldn't explain why *** would be asking me this?Review fromJohn N.

Charges something called “injection storage charge” that is extremely high. I feel I’m being scammed.Realgy, LLC
Date: 08/15/2022
Hi ****, The storage injection charge is for the storage program that some gas customers have. From April 1st to October 31st, 20% of your historical annual usage is put aside at the lower rate to be applied to your winter bills beginning November 1st through March 31st. This period is when rates tend to be higher and usage is higher resulting in increased bill costs. The storage injection fee will appear as a negative number for those months. Please contact us at ****************** or give us a call at ###-###-#### during business hours Mon-Fri 8AM - 5 PM so we can discuss your account further. Thank you.Review fromKelsey C

Just as the list of many, many others have stated STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY. I wasn't even aware that I was signed up until I got a $900 power bill which is triple my average. Did some digging and come to find out I am signed up with this scam of a company, I never consented to it, and then they tripled their rates in ONE BILLING CYCLE! Out of nowhere! How are you even still in business? There is not ONE, NOT ONE, single review online that is GOOD! Every person you come in contact with gets SCAMMED! You aren't even a business, you're criminals doing crime the legal way! Explain how rates fluctuate with the market but yet your rates are over 4 times all the other rates in my area! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND CHECK YOUR BILL BECAUSE THEY WILL FRAUDULENTLY SIGN YOU UP AND THEN CHARGE YOU TRIPLE RATES OUT OF NOWHERE!Realgy, LLC

Hi ******* We are not showing an account associated with your name. Please reach out with your account information to [email protected] and we'd be happy to review your bill along with how you enrolled in our services. Our rates are historically lower than the utility and other suppliers in the area. Please keep in mind our ServiceMatch. This states if you receive an offer from another supplier, we will match it or provide even lower. Just send us over the terms of their offer and we will meet or beat their rate. Thank you.
