      In January of 2022, *** * *** purchased game store displays for a new store. The total was $7500. *** * *** put down a $6000 deposit. We reached out to the business to check the progress monthly after April because that was the date quoted by the business.

      In October the project had not started and due to the 80% deposit and various excuses on why they had not begun or delivered the displays, I asked for a refund.

      The business informed us that he used the deposit to purchase materials and he didn't have the money in the bank. He also confirmed he spent $700 but has not sent the remaining deposit while he waits for a project to use the materials.

      We are asking for the $5300 to resolve this issue. Only $700 was spent on materials, the rest of the deposit should have been sent in full.
