If I can give this place a Zero I will..this was the WORST PAINFUL EXP. MY poor 16-year-old and I had to go through. First, we made an appt. for 2:30 pm got there at 2:20 p.m. the owner was doing someone's hair and had another customer waiting. She told us we had to wait about 20 min. her 20 minutes turned into hours to be exact we waited 3 HOURS!!!! as she was still doing the other people's hair and then another lady from Meriden apparently had an appointment for 3 PM came in late at 4:30 p.m. the lady asked can you do my hair and she has the nerve to ask the lady do you speak french, the lady said a little, and apparently told her she will do her hair when she knew we were waiting. I told her we have been waiting for hours she goes and say there were supposed to be 4 people here but I am by myself. This is not the customer's problem it is her problem as she can not manage her business or organized her schedule. If you know you don't have the staff then don't schedule an appointment when you know that braiding can take hours. The entire time she was on the phone talking loudly while she is doing her hair then she pauses while doing the hair so she can talk on the phone who does this? So unprofessional. I get she owns this place but there is NO customer service, I felt bad for the customers as she was so close to the ears and the rest of the customers that had to listen. Also, I asked her how much for doing my daughter's hair she said $300 cash when originally was $200 I almost had a heart attack as we were providing the hair. She start my daughter's hair at 5:30 p.m. then she stops to do the other person that came late hair for another 30 minutes. Then I stepped out and my daughter calls me saying that now she wants $50 more because the hair is long. The braids were so tight my daughter was in tears she told us to take Tylenol my daughter's head was swollen she had to cut them all out. My daughter's hair is now short to the scalp because of this lady. Awful
