      We started working together when each of our businesses were part of a barter network. Unfortunately, I stayed with Mellessia/ A Wright Tax for years since. Now that she is joining a franchise, I proposed she complete the work she has already been paid to do and then we part ways. She is refusing to complete the work for September, October, November and December (requested just the parts that could/ should be done through the end of the year). Instead, she is insisting I pay her for January to have her complete work that has consistently been due by the 15th of each following month. In other words, to have her complete work she was already paid for, I have to pay her more. Throughout the engagement, I have consistently had to BEG her to do what we had set out in our original engagement - i.e., prepare monthly P&L and Balance Sheet statements and email them to me, reconcile the bank and credit card statements, and attach receipts to the appropriate charges. These generally have been done in part and only after repeated requests. Pretty consistently, they were inaccurate, as well. I was trying to professionally end the relationship, but she is refusing to complete the work she was paid to do. That is unethical. If the work had been done as it was supposed to have been, there shouldn't be any issue emailing me the reports that should have been prepared months ago. (Amount listed below is for the 4 months of work not completed but paid for)

      I have now received the documentation that was due from the provider. Upon review, I've identified a couple of issues:

      1. There are numerous errors in the documentation.
      2. I've found contradictions between the provider's past statements and the actual work performed over the years.

      Despite these concerns, I've decided not to pursue the matter further. I now have the minimum required documentation and prefer to move forward. My intention is to find a reputable provider to address any remaining issues and ensure everything is in order.
