We signed a contract with this company who is owned by Mr Robert L*** who previously lived in ******* **.
The job his company was to do was install a new window, paint the exterior of our house and install a new walk-in-closet and home office space. He started the work and we paid him already about 80% of the money upfront but he only finished about 20% of the work. He partially finished the window but all of the other above mentioned jobs are not done yet. We have reached out countless times fir several months as there is no more progress but he disappeared, is unresponsive, messages don’t go through and the phone is disconnected. Also nobody is at his office anymore in ********* *** His sub contractor just told us today he is no longer in business and screwed over many clients who he owes hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I have hired RNL development and constructions over a year ago to build a new deck on my property. There was a delay on the permit, and a second delay due to a wetlands permit. Finally all the permits were issued and I have been told multiple times by the owner that he was going to start on my project.

On April 4, 2023, I received an email from the owner Robert Lees that he was going to resume work on June 1, 2023. However, he did not. Then June 28, 2023 he said he would resume work after the July 4th holiday, but that didn’t happen. On July 14, 2023, he said it was going to take 2 more weeks because he had to hire some new workers. On August 3, 2023, after multiple emails and phone calls, the owner emailed me that he was working on getting it started and would check with me a week later. Since then, I have emailed him on Aug 8, 14, 18, 24, and 27 along with multiple phone calls and have not heard back from anyone.

On May 11, 2022, I paid an invoice that stated the following:
    DESCRIPTION
The total cost of the deck can be honored with the following payment plan: $5,018.99 due upon signing of change order (completed), $8,364.99 due at this time, $1,672.00 due at time of framing, and $1,673.99 due upon completion.

Currently, I have paid $5,018.99 at signing of contract and $8,364.99 on May 11 2022.
