    I ordered 8 candles from this shop and received them on June 29, 2024. Order # ********. When I unwrapped the order, I noted that two of the candles were incorrect. I reached out to the store via email, including a photo of the items, and asked how we might resolve the issue. Lauren replied the following: " I am so sorry that you had to reach out to us about receiving a slightly different product. I had every intention of contacting you prior to shipping the candles to let you know that we did not have any more concrete or terra cotta lacquer in stock, that is why I sent the matte versions. We were in the middle of preparing for a storewide sale and sidewalk sale last week so it was a bit busy. If you don't mind, I will refund you the difference since the lacquer candles are a little bit more than matte." She refunded me $3.00. Since I didn't like the candles she replaced without my consent, I kindly offered to return them and have them replaced with two items of my choosing. Lauren agreed, provided she received the candles without damage. I sent them back and she replaced them with two candles at the original price point. Since they knowingly sent me two items I did not order and did not want, I believe Bespoke Designs is responsible for the shipping costs I incurred in returning them. My shipping costs totaled $13.46. Accounting for the $3.00 they initially refunded me, it is my contention that they owe me $10.46. They disagree..

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. It’s very unfortunate, however, that I had to file a complaint in order to receive the reimbursement for costs I incurred due to their error.
