    I purchased a stapler from Online River on October 16, 2023. They did not ship this product to me until December 27, 2023—it arrived to me in January of 2024. The product page on the website says nothing about a nearly 3 month lead time. The company never emailed me about a delay; they never communicated with me about this item.

    After I received the item, it was much past the time where I really needed it so initiated a return. When I contacted the company they were not helpful. They did not apologize or offer to cover the shippings costs of the return. Someone named Todd passed the issue to someone named Kathleen. I have paid to send the item back to them, so have, at this stage, paid both for the item, and the return shipping.

    The resolution I am seeking is very simple. Refund the item + shipping costs, which is $174.32 + $16.23 = $190.55.

    Hi, and sorry to hear about the delay in getting you the hole punch you ordered.  We have refunded the cost of the hole punch ($174.32) today through the website where you ordered it (including the shipping cost in sending the punch to you) and we mailed you a check via Priority Mail for the shipping cost you incurred sending it back to us, of $16.23.
