      KB remodeling of Wethersfield, CT took on our contract to remodel our kitchen we were told it would be 4-5 weeks. We contracted them last year July. They started job nov 2022. It took almost a year to complete. We had no water, no heat, electricity, no insulation for months with no work in dead of winter. They worked 1 or twice for the first 2 months kept saying they were coming they never showed up. If we did get someone to come it was late and would work for an hour tops. We threatened legal action and then rushed the kitchen in the last month so the work is very shoddy. The workers were showing up to tell us they were not going to finish as they were not getting paid. The owner said he would over see work he never showed up until the end when we said we would go to court. They messed up the measurements on almost all the cabinets and just cut them with a saw leaving uneven cabinets. The plumber he hired didn’t know how to install gas stove I asked for his plumbers license and was refused. We had to have someone else come to fix a lot of their mess. Would never have them back

      KB remodeling of Wethersfield, CT took on a 3 week job with a contract with us. It has been a full year and I know had to seek out a another contractor to finish and fix what KB Remodeling created. The original contract was for $15,000 and broke down what the home owner was responsible for (appliances etc...). Now the estimate to dig out of this is $38,000 and then some. We had no water, electricity, dishwasher or countertops for months. They left gouges and holes in the cabinets, shoddy electrical work and so much more. We felt so comfortable the first time we met with KB, the owner and when he assured us he would be overseeing the project from start to finish we decided to go for it. In a years time KB showed up maybe 4 times and his crew would go days and weeks without showing up. When they did show up it was no earlier than 10am, they took several smoke breaks and a good hour for lunch and were done by 4pm at the latest. Part of the job was to do significant work in the master bedroom and they never stepped foot in that room. KB called one day and said we messed up on measuring the cabinets and now your dishwasher won't fit. He then told me to go buy a 18 inch one if I wanted a dishwasher, so I did. They never finished the job and the new dishwasher besides being way to small left a huge wide open space between cabinets. I decided to hire someone to put the original one back in and now to do dishes I have to open one of the cabinets and the lower dishwasher rack can not be pulled out and the top one only comes partially out.
