    This started in February, March of 2023. The owner Robert O****** R. C. E. Construction and Handyman services LLC, was hired to do siding on our house, along with putting in a bay window and new back door and shutters. We were asked to put down an amount of $7,800.00 to start the order for materials. Then he asked for another $1500.00 to order a nicer siding material, he said he needed that to put in the order. Then for the shutters, he said another $500.00 for that. It seemed he always had an increase, and kept insisting that we had to put this down in order to get the materials. After 3 months went by, we tried to get in touch with Rob to ask about where we stood with the order that was supposedly had been put in. We tried calling and no response from him. Robert O****** never came by the house to start anything, but to take our money. He lied to us to our faces. We were too trusting, and we need to get our money back. Please do not trust this guy. He is a liar, and just wants your money. Please help us retrieve our money back.

    Hired contractor on 10-5-2022, , kept finding more things that needed to be fixed. Paid by check, cash, maxed out my credit cards, took money out of savings, IRA and had to sell stocks. Over $250,000.00 RCE contractors and Handyman from Wethersfield. Stated he had purchased all materials for completing house and has in storage. Siding, garage door, insulation, shed, lighting, paneling, electrical panel for upgrade and wiring, garage door opener, fencing for each side of house double gates, tile for basement laundry room flooring, ceiling repair, paint to match front door and garage door to match new shutters, Paint for complete wash room cement walls and paint door, probably more if I think.. asked for detailed invoice of work to be done several times , never gave one to me and was supposed to show printout to show how much items were to equal what monies I had given him. cement underlayment for tile, new window and door for kitchen, said had friend to do blown in insulation and paid extra to bring insulation up to code.     I hired RCE Construction to replace a kitchen faucet and downstairs pump.
    Originally, he quoted $800 but by the time he finished the amount owed was well over $1000. The pump he installed sounded like the engine of a jet when turned on. Robert assured me that the noise did not mean anything. He did not know why the noise was so loud but said it would be fine. He also installed a new kitchen sink. This installation happened in May and by June the pump had stopped pumping and the faucet came off completely off and had to be reinstalled and tightened. The spray began leaking and is still leaking to this day. I have to keep a pan underneath. I started notifying him immediately and although he initially returned my call he said he was busy at that time but would stop over. He said he did not have the receipt for the pump for any of the info on it. I sent him a picture of the box with all the numbers and information on it. He told me he would get back to me soon. He never called and when I texted him he just said he was busy but would definitely get back to me to fix everything. I have never heard from him again. It has been over 5 months. I had to get the pump replaced by a plumber and emailed him that he owes me $300 for pump and plumber. He doesn't care and never responded again.

    This contractor took $7,000 dollars from us, for a BRAND NEW BOILER AND A NEW WALL WITH DOOR. He send someone over three times to change a couple of pieces on the boiler, the boiler still don’t Work, The plumber that came said we still need a boiler. the wall in not up either. At this point he does not answer the phone . He send a text when my husband call but never came to do what he was paid for. we need our money back cause we need a boiler and wall with door .
