I stayed at the ******* *** in **********, ** May 31st to June 4th, 2024. Somehow, I got double booked. Despite my wife and I staying in only 1 room, we were charged for 2. I was charged $387.08 on both April 16th and Apr 27th. The room was so bad that upon checkout I requested and got a verbal OK from the manager that half of my cost would be refunded. Not only did I not recoup 50 percent but when I got my credit card statement found it was even worse. I was DOUBLE charged. They said because there were 2 reservations, they HAD to charge me for both. The man I dealt with said his name was Tony and that he was the manager. I am sure that is not his real name and that he is in fact the owner. Why didn't the check-in clerk notice 2 reservations under the same name???? Could have been solved right there. Normally, if you are a no show, you get charged for the first night, not the entire stay. "Tony" said that because it was booked through ***********, he could not put the funds back on my credit card because the payment came through on a *********** card. There has to be a way to reimburse customers through the *********** system so I'm calling that one **. I called the hotel a number of times after completing our trip. Tony was not budging. Our stay was booked under *********** Confirmation numbers ************** and **************. Request you help me get refunded for one of those charges. Thanks/****

I was booked at the hotel Rodeway inn on 07/11/23, it was like a nightmare place, first you walk in and the smell of smoke hits you like a ton of bricks, the doors handles were filthy to start, then we get to our room and I almost passed out from the smell and the filthy mess, the doors and walls were filthy, there was no window screen on the 3rd floor windows and the windows open, the scum on the window sills was so thick that there was spiders living in it, the shower was filthy as was the shower curtain, holes in the walls, the sheets were dirty with black spots and hair, , bugs all over the coffee pot in the breakfast room, the second floor were 10 people living in one room, I think there was drug transactions, , the whole place was a disgrace and should be condemned, , I asked for my money back and the owner walked away, all, I wanted was a refund, we then left and did NOT stay there, we went to another hotel, please do something about this horrible, bug inflicted, drugs and filthy place. , Sincerely ******* *******
