    On Jan. 3rd, I dropped off my white full sized comforter to be washed and left it in designated locked locker per laundromat instructions. This was during service hours but no attendant present. After almost two weeks, they told me that it had NOT been washed. They forgot! The attendant said to come back “ tomorrow”. My mother went to pick it. She paid $30 for the wash but before leaving noticed it looked tinged yellow in some areas. It was in a tied clear bag. Not sure if it was the lighting, she mentioned her concern to the attendant, who motioned that it was ok. The woman did not speak english but could communicate with nodding and hand gestures. We opened the bag at home and discover yellow discoloration in many areas and also the filling inside was in hard clumps. I called the owner several times to inform him. It took many calls and messages. He was very difficult to reach. Finally, he returned my call and recommended a second wash, so I dropped it off again. Unfortunately, when I got it back the yellow was gone but the stuffing was all damaged. The whole comforter is now badly distorted and does not lay flat. The interior material is uneven and hard and the seams are pulled tight and cinched. I no longer can use it. Its a complete loss. Many calls to the owner again and he refuses to take responsibility for the damage and avoids answering my calls. He keeps telling me that he needs to investigate and get back to me, yet he does not and has not offered any form of acknowledgment or compensation. Yesterday, Jan. 26th, I dropped it off again and left it there so he can see it. He is never in the shop. I asked for the $30 money back and compensation to replace the comforter. It is only a little over a year old and cost me just under $100.00. I have used them many times in the past with no issues and they even washed this exact comforter before. Something went wrong this time. Maybe over bleached or over dried? I dont know but its unusable as is. Please help!
