    Spend thousands of dollars on a watch, tried to order a replacement strap, various other straps and they are ALL out of stock and can't be ordered. Poor customer service and poor stock quality.

    I made the mistake of forgetting to tighten the crown on my Superocean, allowing water to get inside. I sent it in for an estimate, which came back quickly—within 24 hours. But the repair cost? More than the watch was worth. Naturally, I declined.
    What happened next was completely unacceptable. Breitling held onto my watch for over a month before returning it, doing absolutely nothing to prevent further damage. There was no attempt to dry it out or take basic care. The watch sat there with wet internal components, deteriorating further. The tritium even began to leak.
    When I reached out, their response was essentially, “Not our problem.”
    For a brand that markets itself as high-end, this level of service is an absolute joke. A simple step, like placing the watch on a heating mat, could have minimized the damage. It would have cost them nothing and could have kept me as a lifelong customer.
    Instead, I now take my business elsewhere. Breitling won’t get another dime from me.

    My name is ****** *******  Repair order BUS. 014940
    Today, July 6,2023 was my final conversation with Breitling repair service center manager by name Nicole. Almost 10 days of every day conversations with different representatives about why watch under warranty repair.Official Breitling web clearly indicated 5years warranty repairs if any mechanical problems happen. I purchased watch at October 2018 and it’s around 5 month till warranty ends. By some reason , they refused to repair watch without charges base on 2015 date of production. I tried to explain so many times, that’s Breitling computer error but nobody wants to do investigation and help me. Representatives just to busy for extra time. I explain to everyone, that am US army veteran and recovering after massive heart attack. 10 day on stress to call them with explanations extremely difficult and dangerous for me. Manager “Nicole” said “ you have to pay $1500 for service repairs or take watch back without any”
    4years ago I was sended watch for repairs with absolutely the same problem, one of the pusher simply stocked. Now, after repairs it’s happened again. Very disappointed.
    Customer service representatives just fallow instructions and didn’t care about customer happiness.

    Regretful purchase of a $5,200 high school graduation gift, and Breitling claims it’s unable to repair the watch. How are they still in business? I should have bought a Rolex, who can fix their timepieces, albeit pricey. Breitling refused to honor a trade in, but proposed a 40% discount on another purchase up to $2,000. I was a true believer in the brand, owning one for over 20 years; but it’s over. Very disappointed in their response.
