Started April 12 2024. I scheduled my vehicle with True Craft for a 6 window tint. Total cost was $319. The first date was April 19 to have the tints installed. Upon picking up my vehicle I asked for a receipt and was given a small receipt paper that stated I payed in cash $320. The owner did not have any change or small bills. Deal was completed and I left.
Noticed on April 23 The window sticker on the back of my truck was damaged with a razor blade. I left a message that night. The owner called the next day and said the damage "slipped his mind and apologizes ". but has no explanation for the other issues I found later that night. The first time 5 windows had issues such as tiny white circles under the film that did not come out after a week. also found were "lines" going across the back window. The owner agreed to pick up the truck and fix the issues. On the agreed date The owner had not showed up by 2pm to pickup the truck. I called him and he had forgotten about it and had to reschedule for May 9. Second set of tints. After another week found the same tiny white circles under the tint . I called and complained again. The owner picked up the truck and did the tints again. He had also changed one more tint without telling me. After another week and seeing the same issues again. I had the owner pickup the truck and remove the three tints and return my money. This was on June 7 24 Half the tints are left on my vehicle to include three door window tints. The ones removed and returned are the visor, one door window and rear back window. The check the owner only had been made out to $90. Which would only equal the one door and visor. Not including the rear back window or the up-charge for 5% tint film on all three pieces. The owner has not returned any calls or messages since June 10. The check should have been made for $160. But was only made for $90. I am $70 short. I was not given a return receipt or description on breakdown of returned amount.

This customer has been complicated from the beginning of the service. We provided service to him removing and replacing tints 3 times.    He has not been flexible or understanding of the tint process and scheduling.  Our conversation agreement was for $90.00 for reimbursement.  However, he continues to harass and insist on free service.  He currently has both front driver and passenger tint which remained on the truck. Which should not be given for free.  We removed the rear passenger, back window and front visor strip.  Original price totals $340.00. I did not upcharge for the 5% tint.  I actually gave this customer a $20.00 discount on the whole price.   We did not agree on $160.00 for reimbursement.   My only regret was not maintaining our recorded conversation with this needful customer.  Not sure what specifically he was looking for as to receipts as my system displays purchase amt, tax and grand total.  I've never had in the 2 years a customer complaint looking for any other details other than a receipt for proof of purchase.

    Service breakdown is as follow:

    Front visor $40.00

Front driver and passenger windows $50.00 each individual window.

Rear passenger windows $50.00 each individual window.

    Rear back window $100.00

We removed for him one rear passenger, rear back window, and front visor totaling $190.00. I gave him a check for $90.00.  The job he currently has totals $150.00.  Please keep in mind I had to pay for labor several times to my employee for the service.

I also removed the glues (FOR FREE) so that he would not have to pay elsewhere to prep the windows for a new tint.  And we discussed which he clearly did not state in his statement. Removal of tint and glue originally cost $100.

$320- $90- $150 which is for the current tint he has is left with a remaining balance of $80 due.  If customer agrees to the $80.00, I will submit a check for $80.00 to the BBB office.   This customer has been a constant harassment and is not back allowed to my place of business.

Please keep in mind we removed and replaced the tint for him 3 times at no charge and which is how we came to the $90.00 reimburment agreement.
