I have been trying to transfer my holdings out from this company to my brokerage account. A week ago the representative told me to contact my brokerage account, who initiated a transfer. They were told the transfers were restricted. Today I and my brokerage company called SS@C. No one there seemed to know what to do, and did not even have details about my account. After 40 minutes, all that was accomplished was that they took my details.

Hello - *** *****'s brokerage originally contacted SS&C to sell shares for a fund that had recently become publicly listed.  Due to the structure of the fund, those shares were actually under a 6-month lockup in which he is not permitted to sell until October 1st of this year.  *** *****'s frustration with SS&C came about because the central phone number he reached out to was not able to see the pertinent information about his sell request, or the reason his brokerage wasn't able to execute the trade.  Senior leaders in our Registered Fund Services group have now been in contact with *** ***** directly via phone and email and explained that the sell limitations are placed by the fund, not by SS&C.  We also provided him several fund documents detailing the lock-up procedures, timelines, and where he can find more information online.  He has direct contact emails and phone numbers for the team handling his fund should he have any additional questions or needs.

    Thanks,
    Mike W********
