I was fooled, like others on this site by a fake email from a supposed recruited from a pharmaceutical company requesting that I take a NAPSR course for pharm. sales reps so they could continue the hiring process with me. After booking the class and exam, I felt a little funny about them. I came onto the BBB site and saw that I had company in my foolishness. The exam and website are real, but what isn't is the "recruiter". He is a shell profile on ******** and the job email is just a ploy to get people to drive business to the NAPSR site. I am pretty mad at myself for not doing my due diligence first! I reached out to ****** to stop/refund the transaction. They have initiated a case to get my money back. I haven't received any materials, as it has only been two days since the scam. If I receive the book, I will refuse delivery. I'm praying I don't even have to deal with NAPSR at all. I did go on ******** and report the profile. If any of you receive anything from ****** Health Services, or any job requesting you take this sham certification, report them!Customer Answer

Since contacting the BBB, I also contacted ******, who were the processors of the payment. They created a case and contacted NAPSR. Through the assistance of ****** I was able to receive a refund. I did also report the fake profile to LinkedIn. After the initial complaint, I also received another email from a supposed recruiter advising me to take the course and then they would get me a job. I responded that I knew that they were working with NAPSR, and advised that I had contacted the BBB. They protested that that was not the case, but I have yet to see a single pharmacy rep. job posting requesting the certification from NAPSR. I believe any company that would like you to have this certification would contact you through their own talent acquisition department, and you would be able to connect the request to their company directly.
I did also receive the materials (workbook) from NAPSR, which I will return "Refused" to the post office.Initial Complaint

This business is a complete scam. They make promises about getting into the pharmaceutical industry with completion of their course. They use fraudulent pharmaceutical companies to get information. No reputable company in big pharma has heard of this course. I’ve talked to several companies. They are supposed to be nationally recognized.Business Response

They indicated a certified training that helps place one I. Pharmaceutical sales. No one who I have interviewed with has heard of them other than a scam. When I reached out there was lack of contact. They claim validity but seem to charge people for false claims.Business Response

************** originally enrolled in the **** course on August 17th of 2022, he passed the certification exam on December 7th of 2022 (******************* 3.png) The first time we heard from him was on February 3rd, 2023 (******************* 1.png) claiming that we were asking him to pay for our "staffing" services. The NAPSRx is not involved in job placement and we have never been. We wouldn't charge a student for staffing/placement services, as we do not offer them. We replied to ************** (******************* 2.png) letting him know of the FREE services that we do offer including our own career center and resume review. We never heard back from him.

01/14/2023 Paid $279 for a required course for pharmaceutical sales representative verification. After further review I realized this is a scam, especially the originally email I got from the company.Business Response

****** originally contacted us on January 24th regarding the process for a refund. We replied back immediately letting him know that he is still still within our refund policy timeframe and that he needs to ship the original study materials back to us. As soon as our shipping and handling department marks his study materials as received, or he provides us with a tracking number for the returned study materials, we can do ahead and process a full refund.
Also, I want to make sure to notate that in his original e-mail to us he did not mention anything about a "scam", just that "After further review, I have realized that this isnt something I am interested in."

I was contacted by a so-called rep, like many others, and actually spoke with him for a few months, he had a linked in and everything so I thought he was truthful, he kept telling me to complete the certificate and that he would be out here in Vegas and will interview me. I order the material and after looking at it something seemed fishy, I did research and found out it was a scam! Every since 9/2022 I have been asking for a refund and have not been refunded! This is a scam using people who are truly looking for work. I will like to be refunded now!Business Response

We first heard from ********** on January 2nd, 2023 via e-mail stating she was was still waiting for a refund:
"I am still waiting for my refund! This whole thing was a scam and I will be reporting this to the Attorney General if I am not refunded!! I have left several messages and not received any replies.
***************************"We let her know that this e-mail was the first that we've heard from her and immediately began/processed a full refund per her request. The refund was processed on January 3rd, 2023

Original date of transaction: early August 2022.The National Association of Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives offers a CNPR Examination Certification that is required for many career opportunities in the pharmaceutical sales industry. I purchased the "Total Package" which includes the training manual/materials, access to the exam itself, and membership access for $268 + tax. Upon purchase, I received a prompt and an email that said I should expect my materials within 4 days. That was more than 3 months ago...I still have yet to receive the materials I paid for, despite having emailed the company several times and calling them dozens of times, leaving several voicemails. Not once have I received a reply. In fact, I've never even spoken to an employee or representative of the organization. I would like my testing materials, honestly - with some sort of courtesy (such as a free additional exam attempt) because I'm trying to start my career in this field. But, I will settle for my money back.Business Response
