I would give a negative 3 stars but that is not possible. This place is the worst. Nothing more than a scam to get over on the consumer with junk cars that can't be traded. DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! They did not disclose the true condition of the vehicle prior to listing for auction than wanted to make a scene and became combative when requesting a refund due to mechanical inspection failure finding rust and corrosion on the frame and throughout the vehicle body and mechanical parts There were multiple rusted leaking components that would have cost more than the value of the vehicle and still would not extend the life or use of the vehicle. The car was a noted piece of junk and the customer service was the worse I have ever encountered. There was only one intelligible female in the buyer and dealer unit of the office that had any CSR skills that could be commendable, but a ***** that wanted to be a back-alley brawler that should never be allowed to work with the public in any capacity, as she yelled, screamed and showed herself to be very low class during multiple interactions with different ethnicities that were being assisted for refunds. I don't know how they are still in business with their shady tactics and poor quality vehicles that are not in any shape to be offered for sale. DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE if you decide to do business with them, but I suggest go elsewhere to spend your hard-earned money and not waste it or your time on this scam of a business!

I’ve purchased cars from here and let me tell when I say it’s the worst. You buy a car from this auction and then they force you to do business with the tag place that is on site. Which I disagree and think it’s illegal for someone to tell me who and where I do business with after I purchase a vehicle. Not only you are force to do business with this tag place. They already overcharge you to do the paperwork. On top of that, they want you to pay an additional $30 if you want the title within 2 weeks. If not the guy gonna have to wait until almost 2 months to receive a title. Price gouging at its finest if you ask me and I think someone needs to put a stop to this. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. Unfortunately this kind of business will never go out of business because most people just deal with it and keep moving.

I bid on, and won, a car at this auction. I also paid for the car, in full, the day I bought it. I paid with my credit card, online, which was in my own name. So to recap, I bid on the car, with my account, won the winning bid, was notified via email that I won, I paid for the car, in full, with my CC. I recieved a gate pass after I paid. When I went to pick the car up the following day, I was told I could not have the car. The reason they gave me was that 5 months earlier I disputed a charge for a car I bought, because it had a blown transmission (I won the dispute). Reid, one of the owners at CAA told me that I would have to pay for the car with a blown transmission, (The one I disputed with my CC company), before he would let me have the car I just bought. I told Reid that he had every opportunity to defend against the disputed charge but he and CAA choose not to respond to my credit card companies investigation. Reid didn't want to hear it, was very rude and told me he was going to keep my money for the car I just bought. Well, That's exactly what he did. It actually gets worse. Reid flipped the entire transaction into my wifes account, without her permission. Reid emailed her several times, telling her that the car had to go in her name, rather than mine, and that it was legal because she had given me power of attorney. I did not agree to this, nor did my wife. Reid totally broke the Law by doing what he did. Now we can't get the car, and Reid won't return my money. In addition to filing a case in D.C. Small claims court, I've also contacted the D.C. Dept of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) and DLCP, Dept of Licensing and Consumer Protection. One way or another I'll get my hard earned money back. If you find yourself getting ripped off by these guys, don't get upset, just take the steps I've listed and you stand a very good chance of getting your money back. Also, leave a negative Google, Yelp, RTINGs.com. and any other ratings site.Good luck.
