    I dropped off a 100% polyester bridesmaid dress to be altered at Alterations by Nawid on April 11, 2025. On April 22, they texted me to tell me the dress was ready. When I went to pick it up, I found out that while the alterations had been made, the dress still needed to be steamed.I came back the next day on April 13 to pick up the dress. On Apirl 24, I Noticed there were a bunch of marks all over the front of the dress, a result of the dress being improperly pressed with too much heat. After much back and forth with Nawid, he finally agreed to send me back the cost of the alteration ($95) when I sent him pictures of how poor the alterations were. But because the dress was totally ruined, I had to buy and alter a second dress. When I reached out to see if he would partially refund me for my original dress, he told me I had crossed the line, was harassing him and his business, and he would see me in court. I decided to take this up with the BBB and write a poor review.Furthermore, this business told me they only accepted cash or zelle, making it impossible to dispute the charge later down the line... I believe not only are they doing a poor job and harassing customers that they'll see them in court, they are likely avoiding some type of tax rules.
