      The bank ask you sent several confidential documents via internet.
      After providing all of this information, they state they can get back to you in 24 to 48 hours.

      I has been over 11 day, not one call, not one email, or anything to communicate as to the status.

      Finally, someone calls, when I was ready to walk into an appointment, I said I could not talk now.
      Ask me when would be a good time. I said, 12pm the next day, I will call on my lunch. She said not problem.

      I called the number the next day, just be left on hold for over 1 hour!!!! What was waste of time. I think this bank is FRAUD. I am not comfortable sending all of my personal and confidential information without every hearing bank from the bank as to the status.

      TERRIBLE SERVICE AND WASTE OF 4 HOURS OF SENDING DOCUMENTS, CALLING DAY AFTER DAY TO FOLLOW UP.

      THIS IS FRAUD. BBB NEEDS TO INVESTIGATE TO MAKE SURE THIS IS NOT FRAUD.

      I and my wife applied to US Senate Federal Credit Union 5/23/2023. We were trying to open a share account and then to fund a substantial Jumbo CD with them. After jumping through all their verification hoops, we were informed our application was denied and that we would be receiving correspondence from them listing the reasons why. We have never received any correspondence from them listing why they rejected our applications. It is possible this is a violation of the FAIR Credit Reporting Act!

      I and my wife are not in debt, own our own home outright. We have a high substantial net worth in the 7 figure range, so it is puzzling why our application was rejected other than we have other numerous accounts/CD's with other financial institutions nationwide.

      In summary I would stay away from US Senate Federal Credit Union.

      Services email address sends me marketing email - the latest one said "Hi ........! You have a new Credit Score report available!" and promped me to log in.
      I dont have a SENATE account and dont want one.
      Reported this multiple times by both phone and email to services and many others requesing they take me off their mailing list stop sending me this junk.
