    Took my clothing as I've done since, the Waterfront Dry Cleaners opened, and this particular item I brought to the lady's attention prior. Questioning being an organic cleaner, should this be okay, being that Faux leather was in the item? Her response was yes, should be okay. Therefore I proceeded with having it cleaned. On the morning of 10/20/2023, I went to pick up my dry cleaning, and was presented with my jacket, which was completely destroyed. The lady working in the dry cleaner (the same one who accepted my items), contacted the owner and handed me the phone. I expressed my complete disappointment in what I was presented with, and that when this particular item was brought in, her worker & I discussed if there would be a problem prior, and I was assured it would not be. The owner's comment was we only cleaned it, my response was that you also destroyed it, and I would like to be compensated for my Jacket. Her response was, that they would give me back the amount paid to clean the jacket ($11.51), but will not pay the value of the Jacket. Again expressing the fact, that it was not brought in damaged, therefore they should be liable for the damage they caused. The owner stood her ground, so instead of continuing to argue the point, gathered my clothing, along with the destroyed Jacket, leaving stating their business would be reported, a very not-so-nice review would be submitted, and how they'd lost a loyal customer who's supported them since inception.

    Good morning, 

    Please know that the company contacted me directly, and we were able to come to an agreement regarding the damaged item.  Therefore, this matter has been resolved.  Much Appreciation for "ALL" of the assistance given in this matter, as it Truly help in getting the business to see the importance of treating their customers, fairly.
