    Hello, my name is **************, formally writing this complaint for the ING Chauffeured Transportation company in **********, **. On June 11, 2024, I submitted a payment of $3,570.00 to this company for a bus charter my family members and I had scheduled to travel with on Saturday, June 22, 2024. This payment was for a family beach trip scheduled and planned out months in advance with this company; we had been in contact for months prior to payment, to organize the details of the arrangement. Unfortunately, on June 18, 2024, my family and I were devastatingly informed of the tragic and sudden passing of my elder brother and his wife in *****, ************* while traveling. Due to this passing, the family had no other choice but to try and postpone the trip we were all anticipating. Being that it was a week before the scheduled charter, I reached out to *** requesting a postponement of the trip. Being that over 3K was contributed by everyone for this trip and this was such a sudden death, and my niece and nephew lost both their parents, I was hoping for some sympathy or customer/client understanding in this hard time. But I was told by the company that they could not allow a rescheduling of the bus, which was not covered in the contract of the agreement signed. I am not asking for the money back, as I understand the policies of the company, but a postponement as we deal with this grief. The company has not been accommodating or reasonable in the slightest in trying to resolve this issue. The passing of my brother and his wife has been covered internationally, as it was a major situation in ************* and **********. I've attached articles and supporting documents from *** and ******** below. I am requesting that you all assist us in this matter, as of currently we have wrongfully lost $3,570.00 in vain over this dispute. We are all human, and death has no scheduling, and I do not believe we should punished for a matter no one would ever, ever wish for. Thank you.

    As you stated in your complaint, you have booked large vehicle months in advance and you are fully aware of cancellation policy. We have held this vehicle for month for this passenger and could not book for anyone else. We were notified of there cancellation in written only a day before the trip and could not approve any refund or rescheduling as we would not be able to find any new booking for the next day. Those things happened and it's part of everyone lives and we always recommend purchasing traveller's insurance especially in cases when you are spending amounts beyond your means. We did offer passenger discount if they decide to book same trip on another date but never heard back from them yet.
