    Unethical and predatory subscription practices similar to Sirius XM. I have contacted the company multiple times for 3 subscription gifts purchased in 2022. I have in writing, in 2023, that all were cancelled and then again in July and September and still I am receiving aggressive emails and "invoices" to pay them when I have spent HOURS on the phone verbally cancelling ALL subscriptions with their verbal confirmation (Oct2023 and Oct2024) ALL were cancelled and in email as ******* NOT GET A SUBSCRIPTION FROM THIS COMPANY. They have purposefully made the situation cyclic and difficult to cancel, even with their legally required improvements to the subscription process in the past 15 months. They are still attempting to strong arm payments for cancelled products/services. If you're interested in gifting your child science turn towards Radio Lab -Kids podcast. There are multiple other podcasts and options - this subscription service has cost me hours and so much money to cancel, it's not worth it. Opening a complaint with the *** for consumer protection investigation against this company.

    I was so excited to purchase a subscription for my grandson and I paid $36 in February 16. It says allow 4-6 weeks for initial delivery ever received nothing - its now April 15 and cant seem to get my money back. Its terrible and shameful so disappointing what downfall from what they used to be. *********************.

    Several years ago, I purchased my grandson a subscription to NatGeo for Kids magazine through Amazon because it was one of several orders. He loves the magazine, but Amazon has stopped carrying print subscriptions. I didn't want him to miss any issues, but I also didn't want to overlap issues by purchasing a new subscription, so in June of 2023, I began trying to renew through National Geographic customer service. In a world in which print magazines are moving toward the endangered species list, you'd think they'd make it easy to renew the subscription. But no. Round and round and round I went with customer service, and I have the emails from Karla Marie, John, and Seryjean to prove it. I finally gave up and on 15 November 2023, I bought him a new gift subscription, now that he's missed the final issue of the original subscription. Supposedly this one will renew automatically, but frankly, I'll believe it when I see it. It shouldn't take 6 months to obtain a renewal - for crying out loud, I'm trying to PAY the company and they're just not interested!
