    I am scheduled to take the **** in September but I've had things come up that have caused me to need more time to take it. I would like to reschedule for ******** I called in June and I was told that because the 2025 dates would not be released until October, I would need to cancel my registration then register again when the dates are announced. However, that means I have to pay the cancelation fee instead of the reschedule fee, an additional $115, so I would be out $170 total. This seems unfair because I am going to take it I just need more time. I can already barely afford to take the **** without this additional cost. I looked and while it does say that you cant reschedule for next year in the terms and conditions, it was not clear when i signed up. Canceling a test date more than 60 days in advance should be more than enough time to get a full refund. I posted in the **** sub-reddit and it sounds like this happens to many pre-med students. This is nothing other than a cash grab preying on prospective medicals students. Everything about this process costs an absurd amount, there should be some ***** with simply scheduling the ****.
