I have been publishing press releases with EIN Presswire for nearly 10 years without issue. However, a recent incident has made it clear that the company is engaging in content suppression and editorial censorship particularly aimed at voices like mine.I submitted a press release on April 12, 2025, announcing that my latest book *********** The Erotica of ******* hit Amazons Best Seller list. The content aligned with a previously approved and published press release for the same book. Yet this one was blocked without justification. I received no opportunity to revise or resubmit. Instead, my account was locked from editing the release altogether.Lets be honest this sudden shift reeks of fear and political timidity. The only difference now is that ****** ***** has returned to office, and media outlets like EIN Presswire appear afraid to support bold, marginalized voices who speak truthfully and creatively about identity, sexuality, and race. They may not have deleted the release in the literal sense, but functionally they did. Whats worse, the immediate release submitted just after midnight wasnt reviewed until 7:11 p.m. rendering the timing completely ineffective. While no money changed hands (I distribute for them in exchange for access), that doesn't excuse unprofessional, inconsistent, and discriminatory behavior. EIN Presswire has benefited from my platform for years. Their censorship is unacceptable.

I have used EIN Presswire, on and off for the last 3 years never had a problem until this past Tuesday, I sent out a press release almost same content as one I sent out on June 24, well 2 hours later I get an email indicating that I need to change the language because it is an advertorial!!! It is a release announcing a country music festival second year and I was not advertising. I had sent out the release to my personal media base and it has been picked up by some top industry publications who published it as an announcement to a festival NOT AS AN ADVERTORIAL!! I wrote back and explained and said it was approved by my client and I will not edit the release and pointed out other similar releases I have sent thru their services that never got flagged. After not hearing back from them I called customer service to find out why editorial was not getting back to me they can't answer ANYTHING. Every single question is "I'm sorry, that would be something our editorial department would handle." I cannot call the editorial department!! Has to be via email which I have sent 3 emails so far and nothing! My client is furious that this release has not gone out thru EIN and I stand to lose the account! No wonder they are so cheap because they operate like a ma and pa store. I have used PR Newswire before, and they are expensive, but they have excellent customer service. The editorial department at EIN has no clue or true knowledge regarding press releases, I have been a publicist for 28 years and have worked with many major festivals and artists and I can tell you that EIN editorial has no clue! I am beyond frustrated as of today 3 days later radio silence from the editorial department! I buy release packages from the service and have 3 releases left that are paid...I want action from them a phone call and approval of my release which is already 3 days late in sending out.
