I began receiving a magazine subscription for the Washington examiner that I did not sign up for. I do not want it and I emailed them to get them to stop sending me the magazine after the 3rd or 4th month. At that point, they then signed me up for their e-mail subscription which I also never agreed to. Today another copy of the magazine showed up. I think this makes the 6th one Ive gotten and its harassment. I want to be left alone. This magazine subscription is political propaganda and I believe it has negatively impacted my reputation. This has caused issues between my family and the mail service that delivers to my home.

      Business Response

      Date: 11/18/2024

The complainant was given a subscription to the Washington Examiner as a complimentary reward by Patriot Golf, with whom he has some relationship.  I have attached a sample of the email letter Patriot Golf would have sent to the complainant notifying him of the complimentary reward.

In August of 2024 we converted those complimentary magazine subscriptions to complimentary digital subscriptions, I have attached a sample of the email letter sent by us notifying the complainant of the conversion to a digital subscription.  At the bottom of the email there is a link to unsubscribe.

The complimentary magazine subscription ended effective August 14, 2024 with the conversion to a digital subscription.

The complainant has been unsubscribed from the complimentary digital subscription.

It is not our desire to serve anyone with any type subscription they do not desire to have.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered]

       Complaint: 22198661

I am rejecting this response because:
I never signed up for patriot golf and even though Ive been unsubscribed, there has still been irreparable damage caused by your harassment. I will not be satisfied until Ive been compensated.

      Regards,

I've subscribed to the Washington Examiner for many years. My subscription expired but I was not made aware by WE possibly because my email had changed. I noticed on the address label on one of the magazines in Feb 2023 that my subscription had expired so I paid $56 for a new subscription. My **** records show payment was made to WE on February 13, 2023. These records were sent to WE this month but all I get is a run around by their customer service.
