      I was charged for a **** for Brazil omDec 16,2023. Never recueved **** because Brazilian authorities cannot decide whether or not to require **** for usa citizens.I tried to call and also E-mailVFS .no luck.       On 12/16/23 I filled out an application to get an e-**** for travel to ****** for a trip to ****** on 1/17/24. This company VHS Global is the only company that you can use to get an e-**** to ****** if you are in the **. I filled out the application and uploaded all the documents required and paid the fee of $80.90. They kept sending back my passport document and my 2x2 picture and asking to reload these documents which I did on several occasions. I have repeatedly tried to call their customer service department and you can never speak to an actual human. I emailed them ***** times and they never respond to any complaints or emails at all. Their website claims they will respond within 1 business day. My last email to them was on March 11 after our trip. To this date I have not received the e-**** not was my application rejected. I feel this company is just taking people's money and possibly trying to steal identities since they have a copy of my passport. I would like help to get them to issue my e-**** as it will be good for 5-10 years and my wife is from ******.

      Hi, I applied to the VFS Global who act as an intermediary collecting documentation for Indian Embassies in ***. I applied for a renunciation of Indian passport through the actual portal and got an ARN number: 24-2002050560 and then proceeded to apply on the VFSGLOBAL web page to fill out other forms and paid Application and courier services fees. I never got a confirmation email from vfsglobal. I however have a PDF saying I paid this amount and when I checked my Bank the funds got debited. Now when I go back to the vfsglobal website and try to login to print courier labels, I get the message that they can't my application with ARN number mentioned above. The application shows in the retrieve incomplete application tab, however, I have now submitted this application a few times again (apart from the first time) and it still shows up as an incomplete application. This will be considered a scam in that it has no good customer support (there is an email address, but my email bounces), the 800 number charges $2.8 for every minute after the first 5 min of free talk time, the website kicks me out saying that I have exceed my rate limit, to surmise, there is no good way to communicate. This is absurd for some entity like this to exist acting as an intermediary for a country. I have no recourse on this matter and would like to get my money back and complain that this outfit is just fraudulent by way of just being inaccessible and operating a shoddy website. They are trying to squeeze as much money as they possibly can without customer support. I will also work with my Bank to dispute this charge, however, not sure if that will be fruitful.

      VFS global has repeatedly been unable to provide me with a tracking number on my passport even though I received a notification saying my passport was sent to the courier. I receive the same response that my case is being escalated. My passport has been sent out by the French Embassy on 04/10/2024, and yet I have still not received my passport on 04/26/2024.

      I submitted my application 5 weeks ago. They didn't give any updates until 3rd weeks then I found that they even didn't submit my case to the embassy for processing. And after that, I didn't receive any statues update from them. I have called them everyday in the past 2 weeks and I have a ticket#******, which they said has been "escalated". But I never received the email which they said will be sent to me after my case get escalated. And they even could not find my passport location, leaving me live in anxiety everyday for the past 5 weeks. I have a fingerprint within past 59 months and they approve me to use the *** service. But they cannot find my fingerprint and ask me to visit their office for the fingerprint collection. This service has caused me severe mental trauma. I hope you can help me get justice.

      I made 2 *** appointments on 1/5/24 for 3/28/24 (for my daughter) and 3/29/24 (for myself). All information we were given said it is best to make an appointment as soon as the *** system allows because this is so difficult. I spent 2 weeks online at varying hours to schedule those appointments even though we did not have a set leave date yet. It is supposed to be easier to reschedule. However, I have now spent the last 9 days attempting to reschedule without success and after reaching out via email and on X since there is no direct way to contact them I received two pieces of information. One that in order to reschedule you need to be 72 hours away from the appointment. It is currently less than 48 hours until the appointment and I am still not able to reschedule. Two there is a request form for a refund. I attempted this 3 times before giving up because it timed out every time I attempted to attach the documents the refund form requests. I am not sure why the government assigned visas to this company, but I can tell you that this is the worst company I have ever had to deal with in all my years of being a consumer and I am a 44 year old woman.

      I have selected application by mail and received an email on Feb 28 from *** stating, ""Dear ***************, Processed application reference number ISL/WAS/260224/0005/01 has been dispatched via courier on Wed Feb 28, 2024. Please note this is an auto-generated email. Please do NOT reply to this email." However, I still havent received either my passport or a tracking number from *** after five days since receiving the email. Whenever I call the customer service helpline, they inform me that they don't have access to my application and that I have to contact VFS Global in Washington and wait for their response. This is very urgent as my flight is in three days, and my passport is missing without a tracking number. They promised to provide me with the tracking number, but still haven't provided any useful information after 48 hours, which is very irresponsible and unprofessional. There's no official email or phone number or any other contact information that I could find online for *** in Washington. Contacting the hotline provided on the *** ******* website and asking them to escalate to the appropriate team takes forever, causing me multiple mental breakdowns and panic attacks due to the missing passport and lack of response from ***. All I request is the tracking number (without which I couldn't track my package with the courier) and information about where my passport is located right now.

      Subject: Urgent: Privacy Violation and Unethical Business Practices by VFS Global Dear Better Business Bureau,I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention some concerning issues regarding the practices of VFS Global, a company that facilitates **** processing services.It has come to my attention that VFS Global has been violating the privacy of its customers by imposing a mandatory SMS fee on all users of its website, without providing an option for customers to opt out or choose alternative communication methods. Furthermore, they are falsely recording this as customer consent, which is a clear violation of privacy regulations.According to regulations, VFS Global is required to offer free SMS notifications as a mandatory service to all customers, with the option for customers to pay for additional SMS services if they desire. However, VFS Global is imposing a $5 fee on all customers without their explicit consent, which is unacceptable and unethical.I urge the Better Business Bureau to investigate these practices and take appropriate action to ensure that VFS Global complies with privacy regulations and ceases its unethical business practices immediately. Customers should have the right to choose how they receive notifications and should not be forced to pay for services they do not want or need.Thank you for your attention to this matter.       The VFS global agreed to refund me $38.5 and they confirmed that they have mailed it via check (see the attached email 1). However, I didn't receive the check due to imcomplete address: they didn't put my apartment number. I pointed out the mistake and sent them my full address again on January 9th. They told me that they have forwarded my message to "related team". It has been a month since it was processed by their "related team". I contacted them multiple times during the time, the only response is "Our internal team is working on your request and we shall get back to you once we receive an update. Regrettably, it is taking longer than expected to investigate the concern." (email 2). I don't understand why correcting the mailing address by adding my apartment number is so hard for them. The case number is [G-00022931]. I am asking for a immediate refund of $38.5 that I overpaid, plus a $500 compensation for my time and legal service cost.

      VFS Global did not provide tracking of my passport after claiming they had sent it with stamps via ***** It has been over two weeks and there continues to be no accountability for the location of my passport. I paid multiple times to speak with VFS representatives, on top of consistent emailing, and was told to "just be patient." I have been hung up on by several of their representatives as well. VFS was unable to confirm the exact location of where the package was passed off, and **** has confirmed that no package sent to my name has ever been dispatched. Now, as I have urgently and patiently insisted on knowing where my passport was shipped out, VFS has told me it's my fault. I now have to purchase a new passport and **** to be able to make it to my best friend's wedding.
