    There have been several attempts to get in contact with our contractor to complete our home renovation job per our contract agreement. There are pending final inspections that have not been closed including building, electrical, and plumbing. A punch list of remaining items was sent to Dupont Design and Remodeling on February 26th, 2023, which we reviewed on-site during our walk-through on April 19th. After not coming to an agreement on remaining items, we stopped hearing from Dupont. Several items on the punch list remain unaddressed, including important items like non-functional doors. On May 11th, we received a proposed agreement from Dupont for the remaining items to be completed and/or credit provided. We did not agree to the proposal because several items from the original contract and written and/or verbal agreements were not included in the list or credited. On May 16th, we sent a counter-agreement for the remaining items. Since this date, we have not heard from Dupont despite several attempts to reach out via email, phone, and text and final inspections that still need to be cleared. A 15,053.06 payment is due to Dupont after completing the job. However, the remaining fixes needed for the home exceed the amount owed to Dupont. The doors alone will cost over 17,000 to fix based on a recent quote from a contractor. We would like for Dupont to finish the job according to contract or refund us 128,500 for the remaining items, including the time it will take to hire and oversee construction for the remaining items and pass final inspections. We have attached the contract which details that the total cost of the project is $168,500.
