    Now after almost a year of watching our fence continue to fall apart (8'panels coming off the posts - twice), we are requesting that All American Fence reimburse us $5000 for the work that is now going to have to be completed to make the fence worthy of being a privacy fence. Dale Wingo came out recently with 3 brackets (he installed 3 different kinds) to help with stabilizing the fence. Screws that were used during the initial construction are now just sticking out of the fence, attached to/securing nothing. Dale told us that he is retiring and will not provide any further work (he promised a year warranty on his work). That year will be up as of My, 2024. We want to hire another fence company to come tear down the bad parts of the fence and rebuild it to be able to provide us the privacy that we were promised. His work is absolutely terrible. I gave him the benefit of the doubt when he came by to fix his original screw ups but now the fence is in dire need of repair. I will be filing a petition with small claims court in New Castle County, DE as well to recuperate our lost finds/terrible installation of our fence. Any assistance that the BBB can offer would be greatly appreciated.

    Mr. Wingo has come back a couple of times to insure the work and product he provided is giving us the comfort of our purchase. He has now gone above and beyond the call of duty in my opinion to keep us a happy customer. He has replaced the warped boards as needed and even replaced the gates due to damage by a landscaper. I highly recommend All American Fence Company to anyone looking for a great company and a dedicated individual like Mr. Wingo! Thank you once again!

    Boards warping and coming loose. Supposed to be cedar but I am skeptical. Installation shady at best; too much of a gap between the fence and ground in areas. I’m trying to get the business out here to correct this. I believe with the problems we are having in only 2 months that this fence will have to be overhauled/redone.

    Our material comes from a wholesaler, BG Halko and Sons in New Castle- the same wholesaler that is used by most fence companies in Delaware. We, unfortunately, do not have control over the material itself, but we have purchased wood from them for over 15 years, and I can guarantee it is absolutely cedar. I am surprised by the comment made that the installation was shady. We worked at their house for an entire week. The customer asked us to rack the wood more than we felt comfortable doing, but we did whatever we were asked to do. We went back twice after we thought the installation was done to correct things that the customer wanted fixed. When we finished, the customer was more than pleased. The customer notified me while I was on vacation to tell me about boards that had fallen off. Our crew went there today, as soon as we got back, to put the boards back on. We also installed a wheel for the wood fence that the customer had asked for (and which we typically don't do). We also ordered another gate, because of damage that had been done by their landscaper. I am sorry the customer does not feel satisfied with our company's service, but I feel like we have gone above and beyond. I am also planning to go back to install the new gate that we are replacing.

    All American Fence came out on 6/26 to correct the issues that I stated. We discussed the problem and concluded that because of the ‘racking’ and lack of nails used (some boards only 3 per board; others 6), that and the weather contributed to the issue. Also it seems that the type of mail needed for my install was not used but rectified by All American Fence. So I am satisfied with their service and professionalism to date; the use of the word ‘shady’ may have exaggerated the issue but the supplier should have supplied a better product to meet our needs. My complaint with All American Fence is hereby withdrawn and I hope that they will continue their fine service with us, even though they may be called back to correct more board issues. Thank you for your commitment to excellence Mr. Wingo.
