    I have an issue with my 2005 Honda Accord EX driver-side door lock. I cannot insert the key to unlock the door. I was told to order the lock & key online and can have a mechanic or locksmith install it for me, so I call Local Locksmith and Car Keys Delaware at ************ and the dispatcher had locksmith ****** reach out to me. We set an appointment time which was Tuesday, March 26, at approximately 4:30pm. He arrived about 6pm, he said he thought I just need a key made. I explained the best I could what was going on with my car (little bit of a language barrier), told him I bought a new lock & key and he said he would try to install, but that the cost would be $400 instead of the $250 quoted because it was a more complex fix. I said okay, gave him the $400. He worked on my car door lock for about an hour, told me that he couldn't install new lock because it wasn't the right size/one, so he only charged me the original $250. Of course I was not happy about it, but what else could I do. So he cleaned up his work area and I locked my car up and went back into my house.
    The very next morning, I go out to my car to go to work and even before I pulled off, I went to open my car door for some reason and it would not open. So I'm inside my car, pulling on the door handle and my car door will no longer open from inside the car. I now have to roll my car window down to reach out to open from the outside. I did not have this problem before ****** worked on my car and I just wanted that part fixed. I text ****** that morning (Wednesday March 27) and ask him to just fix that for me, but I never received a response back. I called the original phone# to speak with manager/supervisor and was told my information will be given to the Owner, *****, for a callback, but I never got one. I called a 2nd time for a callback to get my issue rectified but have still yet to get a response. I just want to be able to open my car door again, like I could before ****** worked on my car.

    I'm a small business owner going through a move and some tough situations. I will have ****** respond to fix the issue. He was on vacation and I was not available to respond. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

    On Wednesday, April 17, 2024 I received a message from BBB that the Business sent and it stated that the Owner

    was going to have ****** respond to fix the issue. I put in my respond that I would give the business 7-10 days to

    resolve the issue for me. As of today, no one from the business has reached out to me at all. Nothing. Another lie told.

     

    This is something that irritates me each and every time I go to open my car door to exit the vehicle and can’t, without

    rolling my car window down and sticking my hand/arm out of it, to open the door from the outside of the car.

     

    So this is something that unfortunately I can not forget about or even put it behind me. So now, I am requesting to

    be refunded my money. The $250.00 that I paid to Daniel. Please give me a refund and do better for your future customers.
