    On 07/15/2024, a parcel was processed by UPS for overnight shipping.The UPS store guaranteed 100% next day delivery and an amount of $61..24 was paid for the parcel.Tracking number 1Z**************03 was showing that the parcel was to be delivered by 07/16/2024 at 12:00pm. This was never delivered and numerous calls and visits to the store,the manager/assistant manager admitted that the parcel left the store but somehow got "misplaced" at the warehouse.A promise was made that the parcel will be traced,shipped and tracking update.Its 2320hrs and and nothing seem to be updated.The parcel contains car keys and I'm now stuck in SC as I had requested for the spare key to be sent ASAP.I am incurring extra expenses having to uber or limited movements due lack of transportation means.Need an explanation as to the whereabouts of my package,reason for the delay and package delivered ASAP as I am stuck at an airbnb

    Hello,

     

    We apologize for this customer's dilemma with their recent shipment.

    Each time the customer reached out to us in the 2.5 days it took for the package to be delivered (Shipped 7/15 at 6:15pm and delivered 7/18 10:27am) my staff was very responsive and attentive to their issue. 

    As explained, the package was not showing movement because of warehouse issues. These issues were not here at The UPS Store but rather with UPS corporate drivers whom shoulder the responsibility of delivering packages.

    As also explained, this customer received a Guaranteed Service Refund (See GSR screen attached) once the package is delivered to the requested address. This refund was already processed for the customer and they should expect to see the check via mail in another 5-8 business days.

    Hope this helps and glad the customer did receive their keys and are no longer land-locked in SC.
