    Amount of money I paid was: $173.53
    Business was posted on expedia and I booked a stay on the expedia app. I was called by a representative (****) from Hotel Bethany Beach stating that their hotel was closed for the month and she did not know why it was still up on expedia. She stated that their sister hotel they refer people to during that booking was full during the dates I wanted to book as well. She told me I would have to cancel through the expedia app and so I did while I was on the phone with her. She then explained to me that she had accepted the refund on her end while we were on the phone with each other and that she would email me stating what we had spoken about so I had some form of proof In case there was an issue with the transaction we had spoken about. I have not yet received an email from ****. Expedia has informed me on (4/5/25) that they had attempted multiple times to get an approval for a request of refund from Hotel Bethany Beach,but they have not received an answer yet. I have a screenshot of when **** called me from Hotel Bethany Beach's number. I have a picture of the Hotel Bethany Beach's door which had a signed posted on it saying that they were closed for the time and they would reopen in April.
