As a small business, I decided that my future revenues were dependent on a good website. I began to define the kind of organization that I wanted to work with. After several conversations with website development companies, I got a very compelling letter from Tech Lab Steam. We agreed on a price of $4,000 to develop the new website. After many months of work, I became more and more frustrated with lack of any measurable results to my new website. I complained about this to the project manager and the owner of the company. I was doing 90% of the work and yet every month they would tell me that I needed more content for the website for it to be recognized on Google. I also concluded that the keywords that were selected were not appropriate and did not reflect my business. I believe that this company is predominantly staffed by offshore resources that are using American names during projects. ( Obie Malone for example ) This causes problems with communications and the writing that was developed by their team was atrocious. Even the founder of the company, Jake Lewis, seems to have changed his last name to Robinson. When you do a street view of the company address it takes you to a parking lot with a couple of small storage sheds. I went to Mr. Lewis several times to complain about the fact that the website was not producing even the smallest number of leads, he suggested that he would remove the project manager and replace him with a more senior resource ( Obie Malone). In my meeting with Mr. Malone, he informed me that I would need to pay several thousand more dollars to get a functioning website. I told him that I was not going to spend any more money because they had not produced any sort of measurable results during the last 12 months that we worked together.

After several conversations with website development companies, I got a very compelling letter from Tech Lab Steam. We agreed on a price of $4,000 to develop the new website. During these early conversations I shared with them my concern about working exclusively with an American company. I had too many bad experiences with offshore organizations. They assured me that the team that would work on my website was housed in their US headquarters. After many months of work, I became more and more frustrated with lack of any measurable results to my new website. I complained about this to the project manager and the owner of the company.
