    As a recent graduate at DLI Great learning experience ! Dedicated instructors giving guidance and training in a hands on atmosphere. I have been throughly prepared to take exam and enter my career with a good foundation to build upon.

    Great hands on experience. You learn alot of different subjects by text. You learn all types of techniques and really learn alot of new things you might've thought was different. Offers great experiences and opportunities. Staff was very helpful from my first school tour till my graduation day, even after graduating as they help with job placement. 10/10 recommend.

    Customer Service unacceptable!!!
    To whom it may concern,
    Delaware school of cosmetology
    Dagsboro De

    I have been a faithful customer of DLS in Dagsboro Delaware sense October 2022 .
    I realize this is a school of learning for future careers in cosmetology.
    With this being taking in to consideration.
    On March 4th I have appointment with Kendra the student at 9. I have never been tarted to any of my appointments.
    On this I showed Kendra what I wanted that was no problem.
    The head instructor Dawn came over wrote up the tickets.
    Kendra begin braiding and add hair to my scalp.
    Dawn walk by a couple of time and left for her lunch at 12:30 or 1:00.
    Kendra was having problems minutes later.
    That’s when Mr Will step in to assist by advising Kendra to make smaller braids.
    At around 1:45 or so Dawn returns comes by and started LAUGHING
    stating what happen and walked away.
    Now am looking at Dawn in disarray assuming that she would help with advising, Kendra.

    Because at this point it’s taking her way too long and we are starting over.

    Kendra was upset with another student coming and telling her . I should brought her locks. Not the ones Kendra told me to buy.
    Am in the middle of a confrontation between two future stylists.

    Kendra advised Mr Will that she wanted to talk to him and Dawn.
    About what was said to her customer.

    Now with all this going on Kendra is dropping things on the floor the hair I brought.
    The job was not satisfied by no means and Dawn Laugh again.
    When Kendra walk me to the counter it was now after 3.00

    Needless to say I ask Dawn for Half off
    Her response was no and next time I will charge you HIGHER
    I did ask to see my Profile .

    I said my goodbyes to Mr Will and advised him that I will not be coming back.



    This is not how a floor monitor should act.
    Maybe Dawn needs to go back to school to learn etiquette.
    A response is needed.

    We set a high standard for ourselves, and we’re so sorry to hear this was not met in your interaction with our staff and students. I would personally like to thank you for being a customer since October 2022. The service you requested and all of our services are already heavily discounted because of us being a school. Timing is always a factor when coming to a school, and I am sorry your service took as long as it did; total hair installs do take a lot of time. The students performing the services are a little slow, and we always work on their timing to meet industry standards. Ms. Dawn and Mr. Will are highly skilled stylists and teachers; thank you for informing us about this situation. Your feedback helps us do better. We will look into this issue and hope to resolve it promptly and accurately.
