    I bought a 2001 chevy s10 from this company with a 90 day warranty if the truck broke down Took the truck to k&b to be fixed only to have the problem happen again 2 days later. . The motor has a burnt cylinder. Which under the 90 warranty I have on the truck K &B REFUSES TO UP HOLD THEY'RE END OF THE WARRANTY.

    We spoke with Mr. ******* this morning actually and are starting the warranty process today in fact. We did not refuse to start the warranty, he never told us that he wanted to proceed with the warranty until this morning. There did not seem to be any problem with the vehicle when he purchased it, but a few days later notified us that he was feeling a misfire. We arranged an appointment so we could check it out for him and actually thought we had found a minor issue that seemed to take care of the problem at the time. He felt like it was continuing to still misfire and contacted another place of business to check into it and they made a few repairs such as plugs and a distributor cap. We explained to Mr. ******* how the warranty worked as far as it was through a warranty company (Aul Corp.) and could be used at any place of business but this morning he came into our office and said he would like us to pursue the warranty and see about replacing the motor in this vehicle. We were not able to do anything previously until he approved it. In the mean time, Mr. ******* does have to bring the vehicle back up to us to start the warranty, we have to have the vehicle at our location to be able to answer all of the warranty company's questions and to do a diagnostic on this vehicle. We have every intention of completing the warranty process and making the necessary repairs. Thank you.
