We bought a wood stove from Byler's. From day one, there were problems. Unfortunately, I can not recommend them if you want to buy a wood stove. We started this project in July, thinking that would be their "down season". We had to wait 10 weeks to get ours installed and we still don't have all the parts. We are still waiting for pieces to come in. It took 6 weeks to have a consult that was suppose to be a 4 hour consult that the guy took 15 minutes. Then they complained that the county being 4 weeks behind but it took them 6 weeks for them to get someone to come out for a consultation. The weekend when we were suppose to have the install, we got a call that our stove never got ordered so we were delayed another week. The install arrived, and there was no heat shield, no ash pan, and no blower. Then we are expected to pay more on top of what we have already paid. The company they use that advertises, 6 months same as cash is a joke. We have tier one credit and couldn't get enough to cover the stove but the consult guy came back with a quote for what we wanted and in budget but now we owe more money? Tell me how that works. A lot of balls got dropped in this transaction. Their solution is they gave us a heat shield. That is it. Nothing else. I don't expect the stove to be free but something. This transaction makes me not want to go back to byler's at all.
