      I'm receiving a $40 bill for an appointment on 2/22/23 that was cancelled by me for my daughter ******* ****. I tried to cancel the appointment on 2/21/23 because we had an urgent matter occur and couldn't make the appointment, but no one answered the phone. So I had to wait until the day of the appointment on 2/22/23 to cancel the appointment. Mind and Body Consortium is still billing me for the cancellation fee even though it is their fault for not answering the phone. Everytime I call their office, I'm on hold waiting for someone to pick up. I called their office twice explaining the situation and nothing has been done even though I spoke with Dale on 5/1 in the middletown office that said that if they waive this fee than they will not be able to do this again this year which I was fine with and yet, I'm still receiving bills.

      I would like this $40 fee waived.

      This is the first time I have been made aware of any such issue on this account. I'm happy to review this matter. Please have the parent/cilent contact me at [email protected] 

      I will advise that patients can cancel by text message, phone, and email. If the call center does not answer, there is a voicemail that is checked hourly for return calls. I do understand that emergencies do come up and would happy to review this account with you.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my  issue.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      Sure. See my response below and the attachment. I understand your process but unfortunately, I attempted to call to cancel within the timeframe allowed and should not be billed. I also received an email from you (****) where I explained the situation and where you asked for my cell phone number to call me, but I never received a call. See attached.I received a call from your company agreeing to write off/remove the cancellation bill. If that is the case, I agree with this resolution of the issue. If the bill still hasn't been resolved then I do not agree with your response because again, I tried to resolve this with you via email and you didn't contact after that to discuss it further.Thank you,

      This fee was written off and a message was left on the phone number on file by staff person, **** on 8/10/2023. Additionally, I do think there was miscommunication. In the email I asked what phone number the parent would have used to contact us to try to further review the event. I do not see where I offered to contact her directly, and again this matter was written off as a courtesy and assigned out to a staff person which logged a call on 8/10/2023. Please let me know if there is anything further that I can do.
