Somehow I got on the Silver Singles spam list and I get email spam messages almost every day. Sometimes 3 in one day. I have tried to unsubscribe many, many times but they refuse to remove me from the list. I never signed up or have even been to that website. This has been going on for several months. The company advertises in FB under the premise that they are one of the fastest growing dating sites and they have an extensive application process so they can find “elite singles” in your area. Most of the messages I get are spam and fake profile accounts. You send a smile to a profile and then you wind up with smiles back from multiple fake accounts. Most of the profiles they “match” you with don’t live remotely close. Several hundred miles and some over 1000 miles away. This is a total scam for people to pay a much higher price for a service that isn’t as advertised in my opinion. Again it’s my opinion but I believe they are aware of the bad product and are ok with taking peoples money knowing they will cancel their service. The difference in price for 30 days is like $70 but 6 months is $120 so it makes sense to do the 6 month period. I asked for my money back and they said they would cancel my service after 6 months. Really dissatisfied and feel taken advantage of. I don’t want others to lose money the way I did.Spark Networks Services GmbH

If you bear with me, I'd like to take this opportunity to clarify the 3 different types of members you see on your profile, which I hope will explain why some of the members may not be meeting your preferences: Matches - these are members that our matching algorithm has recommended to you, based on the results of your personality test and your preference settings. Profile visitors - these are members to whom you have been recommended as a match. You met their preference settings and they visited your profile or initiated contact with you. This means that they may not necessarily meet all your preferences but they are nevertheless still compatible, as per the matching algorithm. Have you met?/Discover profiles - these members are suggested to you as additional, bonus matches. The Have you met? profiles are compatible but do not completely meet your preferences. The good news is that these profiles must all have profile photos in order to be recommended to you! Of course, you can change your settings at any time by navigating to "Preferences" via the menu or the "Matches" page. In order to receive more matches from your area, the first thing I would advise is to make sure that you have marked distance as "very important". Once you have done this, I would recommend that you to revise your other criteria and try relaxing those that are not an absolute must. To adjust your set preferences, log in to https://www.EliteSingles.com and then choose "preferences" in the upper menu. Please be aware though, that our matchmaking considers many different aspects, and if another member for example, has a personality profile that matches yours very well, they might be suggested to you even if they do not match all your stated preferences. Ultimately, how many and which matches you receive, might of course vary depending on for example where you live, what age you are in, and how well your profile and settings match those of other members. We have refunded your membership fee as a goodwill gesture and it should reach you within five business days. Your Premium membership has therefore been cancelled and your profile has changed back into a free, basic membership. This company is a scam as previously mentioned. I requested to cancel and was told by Kelly that the request was not made prior to the renewal date and that I needed to reconcile my account. I am requesting to CANCEL. I am not paying a renewal fee.Spark Networks Services GmbH

This company gives instructions on how to cancel the account but maliciously hides the "CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION" button so that you cannot find it. That cancel button does not exist. Their automated payment renewal system will keep hitting your bank account without ever notifying the account owner that the service renewal is about to take place.Spark Networks Services GmbH

This company after initially canceling and asking them to remove my profile completely at same time and being refunded back in Dec 2021. Well they didn’t cancel or delete my profile. Now they charged me a renewal fee of 108.00 that went through my bank acct. I have all my email threads of the cancellation done by Alice Kelly dated Dec 21st. As of July 8 th the new charge of 108.00. Without my authorization. This profile was to be deleted. I wanted it removed completely because of fraud n fake profiles that were reaching out to me. Confirmed by elite singles who were sending me emails of profiles that were reaching out to me that I shouldn’t respond to. So I immediately wanted completely off this site. They keep renewing the membership. Forcing my profile that I don’t want and have emailed several times. On July 8 they sent me a notice that they renewed it and charged me! I emailed same day and they refuse to cancel, remove my profile and refund my 108.00. Charge I give 0 stars. I don’t complain or get upset if I make bad decisions of services I sign up for. This is straight forward fraud and I hope that this doesn’t continue happening to others.Spark Networks Services GmbH

This is a paid dating website but it doesn't take into consideration what the client wants. I couldn't see many people within the distance I chose or the age range I chose. There is no way to remove people you don't want to see and you are forced to see the same people over and over again because there aren't any options in Wichita Kansas. I attempted to contact the company several times for a refund or an explanation as to why their service and selection are so poor and they just canceled my account for after the six months I paid for is up. This service is even more useless than the free dating sites because you pay for the chance to talk to scam artists (that aren't removed) or creepy men who are interested in women who look like young girls for their sexual fantasies or men who are into bestiality. Both of those men were picked for me with the Zoosk Smartpick. It's been several weeks and the options are still awful and I haven't received a response from this worthless company. They nicely contacted me and said that the support team can help me with tweaking the criteria. I've sent several emails and never received a reply from the "support team". I can assure you that your "support team" never responded to my several emails with a personal reply. Their only response was to deactivate my account after the six months I paid for. I was finally able to find a phone number, of course you didn't give me one, and the man with a very thick foreign accent finally gave me a refund of half my money since I had used the service for a full month. Of course, I had emailed after the first week and could get no response from you, but I'm still not entitled to a full refund. I had to pay for a whole month on your scammer-filled website. Thank you so much for the opportunity. I used the appropriate contact form and didn't receive a reply so that information is a lie or simply useless on your part.
