    Complete failure to communicate IF or WHEN someone will arrive to do the work. A simple 2 to 3 hour job to tighten 3 bolts in my steering column turned into a four week job, only because the owner/mechanic scheduled one day a week to work. His first day on the job, he discovered he needed a special tool and couldn't finish the 2 to 3 hour job. The second week, he couldn't figure out how to re-assemble something that he disassembled, then he broke off a tool inside a critical pin in the steering mechanism and told me he was going to spend $300. of his own money to replace my entire steering column with a used one off eBay. I successfully removed the tool he broke off, to save him from spending his own money to solve the problem. He told me he would be back next week. He never showed up, or initiated any communication. He left me with a disabled vehicle, disassembled in my driveway and has made no attempt to resolve the issue. This 2 hour job turned into me having no work truck, or transportation for a month. He accepts no responsibility for the inconvenience, damage or loss of use. His integrity to see a job through to completion is ZERO. I trusted him and his words telling me "not to worry", throughout this ordeal and still the truck sits disassembled in my driveway and cannot be moved. I have no other recourse than to see if I can have it towed to a dealership to have the steering column fixed and re-assembled. He should bear the cost of all my expenses for transportation until my truck is returned to me in a useful condition, AND the cost to repair the truck back so that I have full use of it again.
