I recently purchased a home in Milford DE 19963. I had a property inspection done and submitted a list of items that I requested to be repaired. The seller agreed to correcting the issues.
July 24th, 2 days before settlement, my realtor and I did a final inspection and found some items had not been completed. The seller again promised they would be corrected.
July 26th, at settlement, it was noted that the hot water heater was not functioning and that $1,000 would be held until the water heater was repaired. Also, it was noted that the NEW SEPTIC TANK WAS INSTALLED on July 25, the day before settlement. Photos from the finance company appraiser, showed that at this point there was no grass in the back nor front yards, and the landscaping had been altered.
September 5th, I finally moved in. I noticed several plumbing leaking issues. My realtor contacted the listing agent and had a plumber come out to correct the issues. After 4 hours he left and I still had leaking issues. I took it upon myself to correct the issues.
September 20th, while doing laundry, I noticed Soap suds coming up through the ground in the backyard. I asked my realtor if he could get me the contact information of the seller, So I could contact them myself.
October 7th I finally got a call back from the contractor. He has made several promises to correct the issues.

November 18th I still have not heard back from the contractor
