Slide-LoK of the Eastern Shore put our contract together June 6th 2023. At that time we gave them a deposit of $3,900.00 and paid the rest when job was done. Soon after the job was done the paint peeled off the concrete. **** the owner of Slide Lok said the paint mixture must have been bad. During that time we were promised it would be done at the beginning of the summer. It was done at the last part of August. **** chose to wait through the winter and try again the summer of 2024, done late July. In the invoice you will see that the wood joints would be pulled and replaced with backer rod and leveler. The wood joints were pulled but nothing was put in place of the wood.Came back and painted with gray paint which I approved and had blue sprinkles spread, the paint cracked in all of the expansion joints since nothing was there to support them. Along with that when they spread the blue sprinkles they did not stick to the paint a lot of the concrete had no speckles it just blew into the pool which has been hard to remove. I feel that I have been extremely nice during this 2 years of promises and mistakes that has taken place. At the beginning I felt I only deserved to have the $5,000 back for the additional cost to overlay aggregate deck which never happen, along with tarping the pool and replacing with backer rod and leveler. Now, two months has past since the last completion of the pool and they will not return any phone calls I make. I have tried at least 20 times to contact and have left at least 10 messages with their secretary, which she tells me she has given **** all my messages, I now notice that the gray coating is pealing off the concrete so this decking is not going to even make it through the winter and I am out $15,000. I am hoping that you can help me make things right, I truly feel I have been taken advantage of and since they cannot even return a call t me, I deserve to be completely reimburse for a absolutely unprofessional job.
