    Brian Rubin is terrible. He doesn't communicate whatsoever. He's barely responsive, if at all. This guy set up an LLC for me and has done my taxes twice. When he set up the LLC, he quoted me a price, which seemed fair. He didn't say that price was on top of the LLC filing fees, so it made the cost astronomical when I could have just done it myself.

    The second time he did my taxes, I asked him what it would cost multiple times in case his rates went up and I wanted to find someone else. He never responded, so I just went with him again assuming the rates were the same as the previous year. He finally finished my taxes LATE after filing an extension, then charges me several hundred more than the previous year without an explanation.

    Then in November, I get a letter from my local tax bureau that my taxes weren't filed for the year, and I owe a penalty. I have been trying to reach him for weeks now via email and phone just to see if he did file the taxes and it was a mistake or if he didn't. He can't even resolve to that and I'm getting completely ghosted. Looking into taking legal action against him and also filing a complaint with the IRS.

    Avoid at all costs, as the guy is awful.

    Avoid. $1700 refund into taxes owed and have been ghosted.

    Poor communication, I had to reach out multiple times to check on the status of my return to hear that other clients where taking priority (that is fine, but build in a way to keep customers informed).

    My return came back with an error turning a $1700 refund into taxes owed. Multiple emails were ignored and I was left to sort out the fix myself. Meanwhile, he still had time to reply in local Faecbook groups touting his services.
