    We were gifted a $1600 chandelier by friends who purchased it from Lighthouse in Lewes. In time some of the many tiny LED bulbs burned out. Went to Lighthouse and met the owner Ron who seemed very nice. He found our friends’ order and found what he said were the exact right bulbs for the chandelier and sold us a dozen. They were halogens not LED which he assured us was correct, but he was mistaken and they instantly fried the chandelier and caused the house to fill with the smell of burning plastic. Called Ron. He said “bring it in next week but call first, I’ll try to get it fixed or get you a deal on a replacement.” Beginning the next week I called and called and called. Staff answering the phone refused to put him on the phone. They told me “he has your messages, if he wants to speak to you he will call.” It’s now week 3, he hasn’t called, and has totally ghosted us after selling us the wrong bulbs for the chandelier HE SOLD! It’s a $1600 chandelier and it’s unusable and the behavior of Lighthouse and the staff and owner is unconscionable. We just don’t understand it. Marc and Teresa Bloom, Bethany Beach, posted 8/5/22.
