I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the recent NEMA charger installation in my garage on February 8th, 2024. The experience fell far short of my expectations and caused significant inconvenience and safety concerns. Specific Issues: - Unauthorized Use: Technicians used my personal tools and ladder during installation without permission, demonstrating a lack of professionalism and respect. - Improper Installation: Attempts to use scrap wood and leaving the plug upside-down indicate poor planning, disregard for detail, and potential safety violations. - Safety Hazards: Technicians failed to turn off the main breaker while fixing the upside-down plug, resulting in a loud noise, smoke, melted cable covering, and a final installation with exposed wires further increasing safety concerns. - Time Mismanagement: The initial 2-hour window stretched to 4.5 hours with an unannounced second visit and rescheduled appointments without communication, demonstrating unprofessionalism and disrespect for my time. - Incomplete & Flawed Repair: The final installation left the box loosely hanging, the plug wobbly, and exposed wire ends, prompting me to hire another company for safe repair. Impact: This experience resulted in complete loss of trust in Electrical Integrity's competence and professionalism. I am deeply disappointed by the poor service and concerned about the potential safety hazards. I had to hire a new electrical company to fix all the issues mentioned above. Desired Resolution: I request a full investigation and explanation regarding how Electrical Integrity will ensure such unprofessionalism and incompetence don't plague other customers. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

      Business Response

We responded to the customer with the below email in reference to her complaint. We were under the impression the customer was satisfied and the issue was handled. We are deeply concerned the customer has escalated this issue to the BBB. The customer identified she did have another electrician come to the site and we could not confirm or deny the work in question was performed by our electricians. The customer did send pictures of the receptacle in question however to take the pictures the receptacle had to be removed by another electrician. We can not confirm what damage that electrician may have done while pulling the device out of the wall and apart to take the pictures.  In good faith we provided all services free of charge. The customer thanked us for voiding the invoice as well as our prompt action even thou we could not confirm our part in this matter. The customer relayed understanding and gratitude. As another good faith we also patched the customers drywall even thou the estimate sent to the customer clearly stated we were not responsible for this. A curtesy unplanned return visit was necessary to patch the drywall as we were trying to accommodate the customer as she was a returning customer. The customer was aware of our return plan as it was at her request. We did use her ladder and this is highly unprofessional. We have addressed this matter in house as stated to the customer both verbally and in email.

      "Hi ****,

Good afternoon, hope all is well!  Thank you very much for the follow up, it is greatly appreciated!  I am so sorry, not sure how or why these wires were broken off, but I have the electrician that did your installation coming into my office today at 4:00 p.m. and I will personally find out.  He will be terminated today, as we do not tolerate this type of work ethic.
As for *****, he is being reprimanded with a write up as we speak, as our electrician(s) supervisor that did your installation, this does not fly with me or Electrical Integrity LLC!!
I thought you would like to know that we take this extremely serious here at Electrical Integrity LLC and will ensure a higher level of oversight on our employees.  Again, I know this doesn’t make it right, but I really do appreciate your emails and feedback!!  Also, please void your invoice 100% and do not pay us anything.  Again, I am so sorry for all of the inconvenience! Thanks, greatly appreciated, and hope you have a wonderful day!"
