    This company was hired to stop a leak from our ceiling due to our HVAC system. We dealt with two workers. *** * ******. *** did the scheduling and ****** is the one who actually does the repairs. The leak was the only problem we had. We were convinced by them that we needed to put a pump in. (There was previously none in the 9 months of living here). We let ****** know we were on a budget and only if the cost was within that we’d do it. He left to get the pricing. *** then messaged saying ****** got the parts even though he didn’t tell me the price. I asked him what the price was and he said he’d let me know but he didn’t. Then they ended up making us pay more than our budget installing an unneeded pump. The problem was fixed but then they created another problem with our AC blowing only hot air by the time ****** left. (That was never an issue for us). He left us that night with a whole new problem. I let *** know and no sympathy about us boiling in our own house. We also have a young child so once things start affecting her well being is very unacceptable.
    They tried telling us we have a possible Freon problem which would be very expensive and wanted to come back the next day. We decided not to continue with them and instead replace them with Horizon who came out and immediately took care of us in getting our ac up and running (it was not Freon like One Stop said, it was the thermostat needed to be reset to run the reverse setting that got changed when he installed the pump. Now the pump is burnt out and was very loud over my daughter’s room and now there is MORE water than before coming from the burnt out pump leaking at my daughter’s bedroom now and now extended down into our basement! Horrible! We want a full refund from them and if not we will be seeking legal damages as they have created a number of problems for us.

    Hello,

    We were hired to stop the water leak and that is wht we did. The customer told us he had never changed his filter in 9 months of living there. Here is the work we did. Removed
    filter ( customer stated was never changed in 9 months of living there) Unclogged
    emergency shut off for ac unit (was clogged with attic insulation)
    Unclogged
    drain line for ac unit and installed condensation pump because there was
    negative fall in original drain line
    The
    main reasons for the leak where clogged drain line and emergency shut off being
    clogged with attic insulation 

    After completion of this we left. The next day the customer called me and didn't even give us a chance to go back and review what the issue was. As he stated it was an easy fix. We already gave him a massive discount on the job becasue he said he couldn't afford it and he had a small child. We fixed the issue but his AC unit was under a lot of stress and because of that it reset. We did nothing wrong.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my  issue.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed What he is saying is true about them coming to fix the leak. However he is omitting the part that they CREATED a whole NEW problem which his tech was VERY MUCH aware of BEFORE leaving our house that day and which is the main reason for my complaint. We were left with a non-cooling system, was told that the Freon was low and would come back tomorrow and that it would be pricey (******’s words). He shows zero remorse for having my family live in a house that went up to 90 degrees internally. We were not about to have them come back to our house.We called another company which did in fact fix the problem and had no clue why he would install that pump, and not just that, not even install the security for it. We are now back to normal with our unit no thanks to these people who could have cared less and conned us out of money we didn’t have and that were planning to get even more out of us by coming back to fix a problem THEY created.Regards,Complaint ID: 22297616 **In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered.
